Nearly Natural 4966 Cedar Bonsai Artificial Tree, 15-Inch, Green

The artificial plant is gorgeous. Better than I expected. The material is plastic and worth the money. I love the quality. The size of the plant compliments the table I bought it for.

I am going for the Asian look, and this artificial Bonsai fit the bill. I was worried about the look of the trunk and the base with "moss". It had some negative reviews. I put some small pine bark chips at the base, (taken conveniently from my landscaping), and then I added some small interesting rocks from my mega rock collection. I love rocks. Now the Bonsai looks really nice. I did bend the branches a little to give a more lifelike look. Be careful to not bend too much or you will see a stress point on the stem.

This bonsai tree is so realistic people come up and touch it all the time. I bought this for my son's new office. I was very impressed with the way it was packaged so it wasn't damaged in transit. The size was perfect for his office. Sometimes it's hard to find a male things to furnish their office/apartment space. This went perfectly in his professional office and he was very glad I took a chance and purchased it.

For the most popular questions people tend to ask about fake plants... 1. How fake does it look? If you give it a close inspection you will notice that the leaves don't actually grow out of the branches, or that the "dirt" is a more or less part of the pot. It looks fake only if you we're actually within a foot of it inspecting a random house plant. On casual inspection, the color is natural enough that it doesn't attract attention, and the trunk is well made enough to appear natural. The pot looks modern and sleek. 2. How big is it? About as big as a gallon jug of milk. Maybe a tad bigger. 3. Is it worth the money? If you're looking for a real bonsai tree and know you won't be able to keep it alive, definitely. For the price, there are cheaper, uglier plants, but overall no regrets.

This is just a cutie of a bonsai tree! I really like it. However I did add some small rock around the tree base as the green turf stuff they had is pretty silly looking. Looks MUCH better and life-like now with the rock!

Very nice

Shipping was a little pricey to Hawaii but it got here fairly quickly and in great condition. I was willing to splurge a little on the shipping because this tree looked like one of the better ones here on Amazon. It looks exactly as pictured and the vase is really nice. It is the perfect size too! Not too big and not too small. I am considering purchasing another one!

I searched for a while on Amazon for a cute bonsai faux plant, this one seemed like the best option as its actually as advertised. I added moss to the base of the trunk to mine and it looks great, my husband actually asked if it was real. Worth the money as the others I’ve seen look like plastic junk.

Adore this. Put it in a white pot to match my decor and topped it with some river rocks. So realistic!

From distance it looks quite natural, you'll have to get up real close and/or touch it to notice its synthetic. The base pot is plastic and the base ground cover (glued rocks and fake moss) is OK but could use a bit additional sprucing up like the previous reviewer (add rocks and maybe your own porcelain pot). Otherwise it's quite nice, happy with the purchase.
