I recently became a foster failure and ended up with an awesome little maltipoo that I'm absolutely in love with. Since adopting wasn't originally my plan, I had to figure out ways to cut costs on pet ownership-- the main way being not to spend too much on grooming by learning to do it myself. These clippers are great, though as a first-time pet owner, I really don't have much to compare it to. It came with everything I needed (besides maybe the cooperation of my new dog), and voila, I now have a neatly trimmed doggie at less than the cost of bringing him to the groomer. I've already groomed him twice since I got the clippers, and couldn't be more happy with my purchase. The large clippers are great for general use, and come with a variety of comb sizes so an amateur like me can do an even trim without really knowing what I'm doing. They're numbered so that 1 cuts very close while 8 leaves the fur pretty long. I chose a nice medium number of 4 for my dog's main body and decreased to a 2 for the head, neck, and chest. I used the scissors on the legs and face, and even used the mirror to see different angles that I might be able to see otherwise. I used the small clippers for the feet and in between the eyes. The small clippers actually make more noise than the large ones, so he gets a bit nervous when I use them. I like that they're battery operated, but it's a little more of a struggle for him to let me clip with this on. I think the larger clippers are a bit too big to be using on those areas, so sometimes if he *really* doesn't want me near his face or feet with the little clippers, I just have to do it manually with scissors (they get trimmed more often than the rest of his body). Hopefully in time he'll get used to the small clippers since it does look quite a bit neater when I use them. Again, I'm no professional so I'm not very good at clipping by hand with scissors. I definitely depend on the guide combs to make sure my dog has a nice, even clip! I would highly recommend this to anyone who might be new to dog grooming, since it's less than the cost of a professional groom and you get all the equipment you need to learn to do it yourself.

My 2 little boys don't move around when I turn it on, it's nice and quiet, which is important... It's lasted several months so far... It comes with many pieces, this is a cord, I like that Xtra power.. I won't go back to cordless, they don't last... It's easy to use my wife and I have no problem cutting our little Yorkies.. I would take a photo but I don't want to put my boys in danger because everyone will want to take them... LoL.. but seriously yeah, that's how freaking cute they are.. good purchase would recommend...

Pros: it’s quiet, and it plugs into an outlet so it doesn’t run out of charge. The scissors are the best for trimming that I’ve ever received. Cons: We bought this because it’s a WAHL, which is what I use for myself. We assumed it would hold up with quality. HOW WRONG WE WERE… I WISH it weren’t too late to get my money back. We have used many trimmers to shave my yorkipoo, and this has been the worst. It simply will not trim easily, which causes me, my wife, and my dog to get extremely frustrated. My dog gets extremely angry while we use it, which makes it difficult to give him his cut. My dogs haircut has taken us 3-4x as long with this trimmer than with others we have tried. We bought this one due to its consistent power through the wall, but it seems to have less power than our rechargeable ones that caused us to rush his cut against a clock. If I had it my way, I’d rather race against the clock of the charge from the others than use this thing. Steer very clear of this trimmer and put your money towards something else.

I have a sixty pound standard poodle. I was saving up for the more expensive Andis clipper set I found on here, but Vincent was getting a bit more matted than a simple combing could handle, and after a cross country move and some medical issues on my end, it had been a while since he'd been to the groomer. I went ahead and purchased this kit against my better judgment. I was almost certain that it would be money wasted and that there was no way on Earth these clippers would be able to get through a few inches of hair and mats to boot. I bathed Vincent, dried him and combed him out as best I could before I got the clippers out. This kit comes with an instructional video with some information about the company, what to do if your blade dulls, and tips and tricks for grooming. Now, keep in mind I have a sixty pound standard. He's about 26 inches high right now and looked very much like a mop. It took several hours to shave him down with a couple small breaks when the clippers got a little hot or when Vincent just got plain tired of standing, but these clippers did an amazing job. They weren't as loud, nor did they vibrate as much as I thought they would. They were easy to handle and easy to use, and I was really delighted that they got the job done very well! The only reason I gave them four stars is because they do get a little hot after a while. I would recommend, if you have a bigger dog as I do, that you take a small break if they start to get hot, but then again, I sort of expected this. Still a very good deal for the price, and came with some accessories and a nice carrying case.

I should have bought these sooner. I was using expensive shears from the pet store that would always break after a couple of uses. I’ve been using this for months now, and it still runs like new. It’s great quality for a two-pack. The cuts are so smooth and does not snag. Not bulky or cumbersome. Would highly recommended 🤩

I have just opened this product and find it is not working- the blades are making a very loud noise and no amount of oiling or changing position of lever makes any difference- this is a defective product and as it is within the 2 year warranty on the box kindly request seller to exchange or advise what to do

Es una máquina excelente para cortar el pelo de las mascotas, solo la máquina que es con pilas nomás no funcionó, nunca corto el pelo

La maquila sirve perfectamente, le corta bastante bien el cabello a mis mascotas el único problema es que después de un tiempo de uso comienza a calentarse y tienes que parar, para que se pueda enfriar.
