Genuine Campo Del Cielo 20-30 gram Meteorite Nugget

Really great all around.

I think this is such a special piece of a meteor! It is so weighty and vibrates with so much energy that it thrums in your hand! To me this piece looks exactly like a human heart, and from every angle too!!! I call it My Heart's Desire Lucky Talisman! It came with an index card sized certificate of authenticity proving that it did come from the Campo Del Cielo meteor strike in Argentina in 1576! Amazing to own a piece of that history! I am so happy with the piece I got and feel like it was meant to be mine!

It was well presented. The case is nice for display. I gave it to a friend who adores it. It called to him and made some magnetic shows for him.

This appears to be the real deal. Great size and a great conversation piece. A "must have" for any rock collector. Would recommend and buy again.

How often do you get to handle a rock that came from outer space? This shiny chunk is mostly iron so it's heavy. The nickel makes it smooth to the touch. I've been studying meteors for years now and it's a pleasure to have one sitting on my desk. The ancient Greeks knew that such rocks fall from the sky but western science didn't catch up until the 1800s. It's a good reminder that science is often wrong.

I felt this was perfect as a meteor example, clean bright metal, with iron layers and pits.

I've bought two of these meteorite fragments. Superb quality. First one shown is 24g and the second one shown is 22g. Both are delivered in a display case, which can be opened, if you want to hold the meteorite. Also comes with a certificate of authentication. It's truly amazing to hold something that's estimated to be dated as 4.5 billion years old. It hit earth around 4000 to 5000 years ago. And was first documented in 1576. Just imagine where it has been. It's honestly fascinating. If you are thinking of buying this for meditation. The fragments I have bought do resonate with energy. And you can feel the vibration on your hand. So I'd say that these would be ideal for this purpose. And the seller is really helpful in answering questions. An amazing piece of universe. And would be ideal as a gift for a budding astronomer. Or collector. Very highly recommended.
