does this heat up to 450 degrees? if not, what is the maximum temperature that it reaches? thanks!

It heats up to 410 degrees (at least mine does). I've had mine for a few years now so it could be possible that newer models do heat up to 450.

Can you use this iron on wet or damp hair?

It tends to smoke the hair if you use it on wet hair. I sometimes keep my hair curly and flat iron my damp bangs which works well, but I wouldn't recommend it to use it for all your hair.

Is it 110/220 voltage ready for world travel?

It is for 110 volts I would think that you will need a converter from 220volts to 110volts if you plan on using it where 220 volts is the common voltage I know in Mexico 110volts is common but not sure where you will be going. They are very common to get and should not cost you alot , check on Amazon you may find one here .
