These is the best YSL mascara. Goes on smooth and gives great definition to my eyelashes. Well worth the price. Very hard to find though.

Folks, I'll start with the positive - this mascara goes on like a dream. Velvety, non-clumpy, not dry...it's lovely. But then there's the smell. It is enduringly rose-scented - strong when you put it on, and then the scent just...lingers...for hours, eventually shifting into something that reminds me of the bug spray of my childhood. Who wants this?!?!

BEST MASCARA EVER!!!!

I bought this mascara after receiving a sample size from Nordstrom. I loved the sample, the brush shape and size was perfect and grabbed all the lashes and coated evenly and fully. When I received the full size version above, it was clumpy on the brush and didn't wear long without falling under my eyes leaving smudges. I loved the formula with the sample but it seemed different or altered on the full size I ordered here. I don't know if the temperature of the mascara during shipping or storing could affect the formula but that's a possibility. However,This is a great mascara- lots of volume and separation but still feels soft to the touch and looks natural, not fake. Just not sure why it was different from the sample. The only real issue is the smudging under the eyes after a few hours.

This is a game changer in mascara! Yes, it's expensive, but it provides volume and length. I've tried them all and this is the only one that is consistent with no smudging, lots of volume and length. The only negative is that it took 4 passovers of my lashes, but I am an inpatient where time is of the essence.

I have blonde skimpy eyelashes and have tried just about each and every luxury brand out there and have a few favorites. That being said, I had never tried the YSL mascara and wish to God that I had! This is the best mascara I have ever used, ever! I usually need at least 4 coats to make a dent and have my lashes pop, not the case with this one. I put 2 coats on and was astounded at the fullness of my lashes. They look beautiful, thick, and long. The only reason I hadn't already tried the YSL is price, but it's worth every penny and I'll never go back to any other brand, I'm sold!
