I love the keyless start on the Mazda CX9 but the plastic cover is prone to wear and mine finally went bad after a decade. Fortunately this replacement piece was a perfect fit and very reasonably priced. It actually feels as good as the original with no wiggle at all. For the price this is a perfect replacement.

Save your money, this doesn't perfectly fit. I've bought it about three times, and it doesn't last, and drops off the column all the time. Only the two separate Mazda parts: base and knob, made in Japan, fit exactly. Those fastened with tactile snaps, and a solid fit. Save your daily frustration on this - by visiting a dealer parts counter, and ordering them, instead of trying any of these.

My 2013 Mazda CX-9 OEM part broke, so I needed to replace it. This item isn't quite the same as the stock one. It seems like it sticks up a little higher and there's a bit of a gap under it. However, it fits the ignition solidly and the actual switch is firmly connected, so even though it doesn't look quite right it still works just fine. As long as you don't mind it not quite looking like the stock part, then this is a pretty good item and it's cheaper than getting the OEM part from the dealer.

Works, but does not clip all the way down on the ignition so it falls off all the time. The back clip is made slightly too long. Again, it does work but is also disappointing. Reviewing for 2008 Mazda CX-9 sport.

The original knob was broken and kept falling off. First one from Amazon said it would fit cx9 2015 but it didn't- it was too small. Mazda didn't have it and I was desperate and started looking again on Amazon, this time looking at the pictures in much detail. I found one with the prongs that looked like mine. Ordered and had it delivered to our vacation location and it fit. So happy to have a knob that doesn't constantly fall off. Double and triple check measurements and pictures. This one works.

I started noticing my car not starting, thinking it was my starter. But then I noticed the original ignition knob on my 2007 CX-7 was getting a little loose to turn. So I took it apart and noticed that the brackets had broke on the inside of the knob. So I bought this one. It was a perfect fit and super easy to install. However, it only lasted 4 months. And that's only using the vehicle for 2 months, of the 4 month of having it. So, I ordered from a different company hoping that will be better. But what I have noticed is that regardless of who you buy it from, the small plastic pieces are made cheaply and thin. So they will all end up breaking in the long run. This time, I ordered a pack of 2 from another company, just in case one breaks again.
