Quality Blades
These blades are much sharper and robust than any blades I have purchased in the past. It got to be such a hassle with replacing blades every time I used my utility knife because my cheapo blades would either snap or dull with each use. I finally broke down and paid for the quality, happy I did.

Good Quality at a low price
Sharp and get the job done. Dinged one star because it took three weeks to receive the blades! (Though not the fault of Irwin.)

The complaints about the case are wrong
Update: I added pictures to clearly point out my conundrum with the complaints.Original: I saw a ton of people complaining about the "difficulty" of extracting a new blade from the Plastic case.- I have a feeling that people are either -1. Trying to get a blade out the top slot (You can see it's marked Trash) or2. Using the correct bottom one - but didn't see the access area cut into the bottom (see pictures)*If they have - and still feel that way - then they're even more ridiculous. These are RAZER BLADES... The fact that they don't just slide out of the case, by simply breathing on them, is a benefit.*Otherwise you'd end up with 50 loose blades - which would obviously be extremely dangerous - and they'd also all be ruined.*There is a thin coat of oil on the blades (which protects them from rusting and dulling) and it does give them the slightest resistance (because it causes them to stick together). But that's why the bottom access is there. So you can just use your finger (or nail) and push one out...Anyway, I think this case is a wonderful design. So seeing all the negative, I'm assuming ignorant, reviews about it really annoyed me 😒I hope this helps - oh and if it does please mark it that way, so more people are aware of this.PS The blades are good as well 😂

These have the Pointed Ends on them
Great blades. Have used them for years. Best for breaking down boxes or just general cutting. There might be some confusion about whether these blades are the newer ones with the blunted edges (childproof) or not, so I am including a picture of the actual products received.

Great blades, great price, amazing dispenser
The quality of these Irwin blades is known by pretty much everyone who uses a cutting tool. They are premium blades, significantly sharper and longer lasting than the cheap ones. There are probably better blades out there, but these are premium, and worth the extra cost (which in this case doesn't seem to be much). This is a pack of 50, which is pretty impressive at this price. Love buying things in bulk. The best thing about this particular product is the plastic container it comes in. So convenient and well-thought-out. 50 blades will last most people a very long time, so you want a nice dispenser. This one is heavy-duty plastic and the blades are under tension so they don't fall out. However, when you want one, you push along the top and one blade slides out without any risk of cutting yourself. And it easily hangs on a nail. Good job, Irwin!
