FM Transmitter

This product works very well and the seller contacted me about a week after I received it to make sure I was happy. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is just because this technology doesn't work real well in my area. Once I talked it over with the company though and we determined the problem was with the area I live in and there not being any great radio frequencies to use, they gave me a FULL REFUND without having to return the device. I do still use it as it is the best solution I have right now for my car but I do get static in the background when I use it. It is better in some places than others. I would recommend using a website to determine if you have good frequencies in your area, before buying. Although this company has such fantastic customer service that this is a pretty risk free product to try and the quality of the product is also excellent.

This is a great way to listen to my Music CDs that are now converted to MP3. Unfortunately, the FM volume transmission is inconsistent requiring that I have my car radio volume set near or at the top of the volume settings.I have requested a "replacement unit" to see if my present unit is defective or if the concept does not work as expected.Hopefully, the replacement product will always deliver good signal strength with good volume through the car radio speakers.With a good MP4 player, you can program the music to "shuffle" your music library - - - like turning on the car radio and listening to whatever is being broadcast from the radio station - except there are NO Commercials or advertisements,IF the replacement unit performs better than the original FM transmitter, I will edit this review and give the product 5 Stars

I received my transmitter very quickly and I love it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the slight ringing background noise that it makes. I read about it in someone elses review before I bought it but I still bought it anyways because it really doesn't affect you that much. when music is playing you cant hear it, it is only in between songs. and I love the fact that when I get a call I can answer and it stops the music and you can hear the caller over your car speakers and talk hands free while driving. This is an overall good product and I would suggest it to my friends and I would buy it again.

I've had this transmitter about a week now, and I'm glad I bought it. Other reviewers complained about its sound quality, but it sounds just like radio- there's a slight buzzing in the background that's audible between songs, but it does nothing to deteriorate the sound quality during the song, in my opinion. The only reason that this transmitter doesn't get 5stars from me is that the plug in device is a little loose, and there is a possibility of it slipping out of the car charger, and the cord is only around 2-3feet long. All else considered, for $20, this is a great product, and a great substitute for an auxillary cable jack.

Not perfect, but pretty close. I hesitated to buy an FM transmitter because with most other transmitters you see online you will find a lot of low ratings. Apparently they tend to not work very well because they really are not very powerful.With this one I will get a bit of static from time to time, but nothing worse than when a regular radio station doesn't quite come in perfectly clear. Has been working pretty darn well for me, anyway.I really like that I can choose pretty much any frequency.

Like all of the FM transmitter units you will spend some time adjusting the stations to maintain a clear signal (which can be unsafe while driving as you have to change the radio dial and the transmitter). If you have an audio jack in your car just buy an audio cable instead of this product (which I did when I bought a new car earlier this year). Don't get me wrong, this product works well and is great for connecting your phone/iPod/tablet to your car audio.

I love this little thing! I have an older model car that does not have anywhere to connect my phone for music.. I've tried several cassette adapters and they all sounded horrible and all of them quit working completely after a couple months. This thing sounds way better than any of the casette adapters have. I love that it has a place to plug in my phone charger so I can charge my phone while I listen to music. My phone charges faster on this than it does on my home charger. My husband liked it so much he asked me to order him one too! The only thing that aggravates me is when I'm going through a bigger city I have to change the radio station alot because so many of the stations have something on them. This isn't a manufacturing problem though and I knew this was how it would be before I bought it. We live in a small town that has several unused radio stations so it's perfect for my day to day needs.

After purchasing a similar transmitter from a different company and having that one stop working after 2 weeks....I decided to go with a different brand. My mistake. The thing happened with this ManaWave transmitter - it stopped working in less than a month. The ManaWave was so badly constructed, it was hard to keep it in the power slot most of the time. You have keep rotating it and maneuvering it around within the outlet to find the sweet spot for the thing to stay in there. It would pop right back out every time over the slightest bump in the road. No good. The sound quality was good but I need one of these transmitters to stay consistent as a charging device. My line of work keeps me in & out of my car all day, my phone is vital and I have to keep it charged. I need something that's not going to stop working after 2 weeks like these cheap things do.
