Perfectly disbursed weights!
First know that you may need to cut these weights according to the weight you desire. In order to cut them you’ll need a saw or a grinder, clamp and grinder with a cutting wheel worked best for me. My son placed second overall for speed out of 62 cars and I really do think it’s credited to these weights. We drilled three 3/8” cores in the rear of the car, allowing the weights to protrude slightly, perfect disbursement. Don’t let the poor reviews sway you, unless you don’t have the tools required to cut and drill. One more detail that you should know is that they weight 3 ounces exactly while in their packaging. Removed from packaging they weigh 2.5 ounces. This turned out not to be an issue since the glue we used to secure the weights made up the difference, we used a two part epoxy.

Worked well, no problems at all
Weights were exactly as described. Virtually identical to competitor's product that I purchased the prior year before Lowes stopped carrying them in store. Easy to cut off segments to adapt the amount of weight to your precise needs. I just clamped it down and used the same coping saw we used to cut the car body to trim the weight down.

Good set of weights
These were purchased to add weight to my nephews pinewood derby car. Just to be clear the weights are all attached and have to be cut to the desired length and/or weight. They cut easily with a hacksaw or any type of saw. Each row of weights are one ounce so there is a total of three ounces in the pack.

Easy and cheap weight
These weights were very easy to use. I cut them to size with a hacksaw in 30 seconds. Then you drill a 3/8 hole in the back of the car. I set then up to look like dual exhausts, came out great! Really sped the car up.

It's not 3 oz
Claims to be (3) 1 oz weights. In reality, the package is half an ounce. If you're expecting or needing more than 2.5 oz. You'll need to buy more than 1 package

Nice weights.
These weights are great for cars that are thin at the front and wide at the back. You basically have to drill a hole in the back of the car to insert the weight. Be careful not to drill holes too small or you can crack your precious creation.
