This product is terrible quality. It was a few bucks cheaper than comparable items at home depot. The lever mechanism requires a lot of fitness to get them to work, and it is nearly impossible to manage opening and closing the vents with a tool if the vent happens to be out of reach. Unfortunately I waited longer than 30 days to install the vents, so it is passed the warranty time period, but even if I had done this immediately, I would have had to pay restocking fees and shipping, so I might not have saved much money any way. The best thing would have been to not buy the items in the first place.
