Professional Wall-Mounted Wine Bottle Opener, Corkscrew, Old Coppered with Sapele Wooden Backing

We tend to go through a lot of wine bottles (friend are heavy drinkers) and we had grown tired of going through cork pullers that couldn't keep up and that kept failing, thus we decided to leap into the big leagues of bottle openers.This opener is as much a work of art as it is functional. everyone that has seen it comments first on how nice it looks and then on it's ease of use. Unless the bottle starts to spin when the cork screw goes in, there is no need to even hold onto the bottle. You cut the foil, place the bottle in the holder which grabs the wider section just below the opening, pull the handle down, push it back up and the cork is free and you can take the bottle out.So that we don't get big arms from opening all of our friends bottles, we tell them how to use it and then everyone of them picked it up without any issues on the first try. Body size is not an contributing factor on ease of use, 100 lb ladies up to 275 pound guys all used it without any strain or problems.

It is as good as you have heard, very heavy build quality, and works like you want a opener too. Anyone can use it, it does all the work and looks amazing doing it. Oh, and no more broken or shredded corks

After opening a number of bottles, I found a way to keep the worm from pushing the cork into the bottle. You have to start with the arm all the way up and pull down fast and hard. If you can't secure this device to a stud in the wall, you will pull it entirely off the wall. I made a 3/4" plywood backing and bolted it to the wall 1st, then mounted the sapelle with recessed bolts into the backing board. I gave it a 4 because they should have mentioned this information in the instructions. The molley bolts that were supplied would never had withstood the force needed to open a bottle without pushing the cork into the bottle.

Easy to use. Hard to find a stud to mount it, but so far so good holding it in place with the molly bolts.

Amazed how it looks on the wall! It only works with corks. It does not work with the other plastic rubber ones.

Very disappointed! Doesn't work as advertised. It just pushes the cork down into the bottle every time so then i have a difficult time extracting the cork..... can I return it or exchange it for something else?

LOVE IT! Great quality... could have a bit simpler instructions.

Looks good mounted on wall operates effectively, is still a little hard to pull handle.

Wirklich gelungene Farb-Kombination des auf "altes Kupfer" getrimmten Korkenzieher mit der farblich sehr stimmigen Massivholz-Wandplatte.Die Fotos kommen dem Original wirklich sehr nah.Hinsichtlich der Funktionalität hab ich auch nix zu meckern...Der Boj zieht sowohl Naturkork wie auch PU-Korken problemlos.Von mir klare Kaufempfehlung
