How many 2 liter soda bottles would (most likely) fit in one of these?

I use these for transporting my 2 Liter sodas from the supermarket to keep them from rolling around. 15 2L bottles will fit standing in the 62L crates. 3bottles wide x 5bottles long.

Are these made of food grade plastic?

They are made from 100% polypropylene plastic which is FDA approved for as food safe. However, the description does not claim to be food safe. I use them for getting groceries and transporting other items.

Are these better than the 8$ costco insta crates that are exactly like this and very sturdy? I put my 11 of them in hardy conditions.

I've got both brands. I find the insta crates slightly more fiddly to collapse than the clever crates, but probably not enough to justify the price difference compared to ordering these though Amazon. (Don't recall where I bought the clever crates, but I'm confident I paid a lot less than this!)
