Easy to use and works well!
I was really intimidated to do this project myself, but it seemed fairly easy after reading others' reviews. I bought the product a few mini 4" rollers and away I went! It rolled on easily and quickly all around the pool and soaked in with no problems within 15 minutes in the hot sun. We let it cure according to instructions. A few days later my daughter was impressed by the water beading on the treated rocks (she didn't know we had treated them). I can definitely see the protection in place and appreciate the success of the project. I wish I didn't put it off so long!

StoneTech Salt Water Sealer is expensive but Works!
I converted my pool to a salt water chlorine generator last year and the contractor used this sealer. He advised me to apply annually in order to protect my natural stone. I purchased this product, pressure washed my coping, waterfall and other stone around my pool and then applied this product with a roller and brush. It was very easy to apply and 5 months later the water still beads on the stone like it was just applied. Do follow the weather report before applying as the directions state to let the product dry for 3 days before exposing to rain or water. I recommend the product, there may be less expensive ones out there but this product works well!

Easy to apply!
We had a new flagstone feature on our salt water pool and I was advised by the pool construction company to seal it as the salt would eat into the natural stone. I was quoted $500 for the pool company to provide this same product and for them to apply it to the flagstone. After a couple of hours of my time the flag stone is sealed perfectly with very little effort on my part. Excellent product and easy to apply just read the instructions on the container. And it does not need re treatment for three years! Yeah.

Must have for a salt pool
Use this if you have a salt water pool. I noticed on my new home that there seemed to be a lot of dust at the bottom of the pool everyday. Upon researching the internet, I learned this is a common problem with salt pools and porous stone decking. I applied this and it immediately soaked into the stone. I noticed that even prior to curing, water splashed by my robot cleaner pooled up rather than soaking in, as it had prior to application. Fantastic. Even better because starting the following morning, no more dust on the bottom of the pool. I was going to buy 3-4 gallons, but upon reading the reviews, I realized it spread better than paint. I used about 1/2 gallon for a 23,000 gallon pool. Will definately buy again when it is time for another treatment.

NOT like the oil based product.
I have used the StoneTech sealer with color enhancer for many years for the stone coping around my salt water pool. I loved it!!! Typically, the seal would last for 2 years before needing to be done again. BUT that was the oil based product that I could not find anywhere this time I searched. This is a water based product. Its easy to apply but I dont see this lasting 2 years as one month after sealing the coping, water no longer beads up. I gave it two coats. Since it does not have any color enhancer in it, the color of the stone was not enhanced and it did not look much different after application than it did before. I was disappointed. Looking for the oil based product for next year.

... but worth the investment to keep the pool in good shape.
Expensive but worth the investment to keep the pool in good shape.

The one and only Salt Water Sealer you'll need for your Salt Water Pool...
Had heard about horrible degradation to natural stone when exposed to Salt Water. The wife and I decided to seal all the natural stone around our pool to protect it.Much of the sealers out on the market boast protection for natural stone however if you look into the fine print, they usually don't state protection to salt water.Once the natural stone was sealed, I didn't notice any change at all to the color or surface texture (like they promised). But as a quick test, after the 72 hour curing session I dumped a bunch of the salt water on the surface of the stone. Instead of slowly absorbing into the stone, it just looked like surface bubbles on the stone. It slowly evaporated and never once absorbed into the natural stone at all.So far so good, if you're looking for a good salt water protectant for a salt water pool, look no further!
