I’m really pleased with this purchase. The size is perfect. It feels really sturdy and well made. It was simple to put together. All the pieces were included and well marked. I had no problems with pieces not fitting like other reviewers mentioned. I feel like the top could be a little thicker and a tiny piece of the veneer chipped while I was putting it together so I’m concerned with it not wearing well over time but for the price, the style and ease of assembly exceeded my expectations! Of course, i immediately changed the drawer pull for something more interesting!

We were on the lookout for a more mid-mod design writing desk as an alternative for guests and a change of pace in a work-from-home environment. This came without damage, and was packed extremely well. Mostly solid wood construction and was assembled easily and without any issues. Great to see a solid product offered for a modest price.

So easy to set up! Appreciate the fact that the desk part comes assembled because building a drawer is ANNOYING! The finish is so beautiful and its a very sturdy and durable wood. I love how it looks! I got 2 for my art desk and vanity!

As many mentioned, the drawers do not run smooth. This is not because they are natural wood, but because there is no mechanism in, its wood on wood sliding. Not too bothersome tho. Legs and base are wood, the top is laminate. The table looks nice, good size for an average desk, and stable enough. Mine came with a chip by one of the drawers, despite an intact packaging at arrival, which makes me say it is a manufacturing quality assurance error. I would buy it again, but be ready that you might have to make some of these compromises.

I don't usually proactively review products unless I really hate them and it's worth letting people know not to make the same mistake... but this desk is THE EXCEPTION. Since the quarantine started, I broke 2 "cheap" (under $150 ) Amazon desks that couldn't stand being moved or used every day. I decided to give this one a try before investing in something over $300 and wow I am impressed.After reading the comments, I still had doubts if this was real wood and I can testify that it really is. A beautiful caramel polished wood. Nope, no MDF here. The top and the drawer come assembled and all you have to do is screw the legs and the bars that go in the middle of the legs in place. The instructions are also very easy to read through, with all parts numbered and draws that don't make you guess what goes where. The screws and other small parts also come organized in individual sections in a plastic bag along with an Allen key. I got it ready to work on in less than 30 minutes.It is sturdy, doesn't move an inch even if you tilt it. It fits my laptop and an extra monitor, with enough space for a lamp, mouse pad and mouse, keyboard, notebook and pens, and a coffee mug. The drawer is a nice touch and great to keep the things you need nearby without overcrowding the desktop space. I am even considering buying the bookshelf as well and make a proper office space out of it.Don't look any further, this is the desk you are looking for.

Gorgeous. Perfect color, real wood, very well made. Packaging was extremely careful. Assembly was super easy. Highly recommend.

The POSITIVE: The desk was super easy to assemble. It is really sturdy. it looks pretty. The NEGATIVE: I've had to remove it from my office because the smell is so bad it made me sick. It gave me a headache, body aches, and made me dizzy. After reading other reviews where customers said it took over 1 month+ to off-gas the desk. It's a shame because I could really use it now. Having to wait a month is not convenient. I'm really hoping it doesn't take an entire month to kill these fumes. It's interesting that there aren't more customers mentioning the fumes.

Great student or office desk for the money. It was easy to put together and it looks great! The drawer works really well. the desk is holding up firmly under use. We got the maple to match other bedroom/office furniture and it looks really nice with the other maple-type stained furniture.
