Finally one that works!
Aside from illness reasons, when you have a puppy like we do, there is the drama of housebreaking which can sometimes take time. Even though our pup is a pretty quick learner, she still has moments due to lacking the physical ability for holding it, especially right now as we transition away from crate training and allowing her to roam the house at night. When pets have accidents in these cases, it is really important to rid not only the stain, but also the odor in order to prevent return visits and mixed messages. We own 4 dogs in total, so messes happen especially with the ages ranging from three geriatric canines to one toddler. We joke that we combined a nursing home with a nursery. With this age range, there will be the unpreventable vomiting, urine or feces debacle.Recently, I had the opportunity to try Pet Urine Odor and Stain Remover by Furry Paws and I am impressed. It has worked great at removing the stain and also the odor. There has not been any return visits to the site either which is awesome! The spray is very simple to use, the bottle is not heavy, easy to hold and you can control nozzle for either spray or stream. You can even turn it to off if you want to prevent accidental spraying. There is a lingering fragrance to the spray for a short time, but it is not a chemical or a medicine type of smell and it does dissipate after a few minutes. We have not noticed any issues with Pet Urine Odor and Stain Remover leaving any carpet stains or matting, even after a couple of weeks. I like the fact that it has earned the seal of approval from the Carpet and Rug Institute stating it is safe on carpets.I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion based on my personal experiences.

Works great but bottle was leaking when arrived
This stuff works great on our 14 year old pet's messes. Only problem was that it started leaking when Amazon shipped it and so we didn't get a completely full bottle. Other than that, it's a good cleaner and doesn't smell bad at all.

Works when directions are followed
Seems to work very well when directions are followed, which involves 1) first blotting up as much fluid as possible on new urine/etc, 2) adding water to dilute the urine/stain, 3) blotting that as dry as possible, then 4) spraying the spot. Then, 5) you wait 15 minutes for it to soak in, and 6) blot again. Last, 7) you cover the spot with a white cloth and heavy object for 4 hours, followed by letting it air dry. White it makes sense to get as much urine and other stuff out of the carpet via blotting and dilution, I just wish there was a product where you could just spray and go.

Strong odor, not a good stain remover.
I've used Eco-88 for a few years. I decided to try a few other products that are a little less expensive than Eco-88, this being one of them and Rocco & Roxie Supply Co Pet Stain remover the other. This has an extremely strong odor, like it's covering up the odor (like pet urine or vomit) rather than removing it. The smell is so strong for me it made my lips sting and the smell lingers for days. Also, as far as cat vomit on light colored carpet, it did not remove the stain. I just re-ordered the Eco-88, it has almost no odor and removes the stain.

Petnex Pet Urine odor & stain Remover
This product does not work all that well and is a lot of work to use. Would not buy again.

Best yet!
We've got four Chihuahuas who make mistakes and sometimes mark around the house. With the heat and humidity in Hawaii, the odor can be noxious and embarrassing. I've tried a number of products and have found that they remove odors temporarily and they leave a soapy film on our linoleum tile floors. This product works better than any I've tried, as it removes the odors and there's no soapy residue left behind. I've also noticed that the dogs don't revisit the spot to do their thing. For our floors, I mop up the mess, then spray this odor and stain remover and let it sit for a few minutes before going over the area with a clean mop again. The spray does have a moderately strong scent but it's pleasant and goes away within a half hour or so. I also spray the floors lightly with it during routine cleaning and mopping. This is not a cure-all product that'll stop the dogs from ever messing again but it works well and I'll be ordering more.

Works well, but cannot confirm cat urine.. which is why I bought it... To be continued...
So far this has done well to remove stains and odor from the carpet. I've used it on dog urine and cat puke stains and its worked well. I am only giving it 4 stars at this time, simply because I cannot declare my love for a product that I cannot confirm cleans up cat urine. That is the true test. If I buy this product again, and if I have to use it for urine, I will update then. But so far, so good!
