Worked for US!
I purposely waited for enough time to pass after using this product to judge it fairly. After giving it to our 11 year old border collie Bella for about 9 months, I can honestly say Iām convinced it works ā at least for us! In the last year or so, Bella had developed the greenish-gray eye cloudiness often seen in older dogs. Worse, it was noticeably affecting her vision. This dog who had always been alert and keenly aware of her surroundings, was now obviously not noticing her neighborhood āfriendsā coming toward her on her walks. She was becoming increasingly less interested in sitting in her chair that looks out the front window because I think she just could no longer see the world going by.We pointed this out to our vet on a routine check-up and he mentioned the common eye cloudiness that older dogs get, and also the possibility of cataracts, but otherwise gave her a clean bill of health. So now the ball was in our court as to what if anything we would do about it.As a sort of āHail Maryā, I turned to Amazon to look for any product that might offer some positive results. I settled on āVision Bitesā because of the large number of reviews, the vast majority of which were positive. But with more than a little skepticism, I ordered our first jar. After all, how much good could a dietary supplement do?As per the instructions, we started with small doses and worked our way up to one complete nugget twice a day to avoid any possible indigestion. We experienced none of that, but this dog has always had a cast iron stomach. A very few people reported that their dog wouldnāt eat them. I would encourage them to find a way disguise it in some other food to give it a chance to work. Fortunately for us, Bella never met a food she didnāt like, and she goes for these treats first on the top of her food.As previously mentioned, I had a lot of doubt about how much good could come from a dietary supplement. That is, until my wife and I recently had our routine visit with our eye doctor. She was telling us how they are seeing much fewer cases of macular degeneration than they used to. She said it is attributed to the fact that we have fresh fruits and vegetables available year round. People are eating more of them and it apparently is making a huge difference, She said anything with color has a major benefit for your vision. So in a sense, eating is seeing, and seeing is believing. So what have been the results with Bella? First of all, donāt expect any overnight miracles. I believe it was two or three weeks before I was fairly certain I could notice a slight difference. The cloudiness in her eyes was just slightly less, and she seemed to be a little more aware and confident of her surroundings, especially on our walks. This progress slowly continued to where we are today. Bella now sits in her chair again and barks or squeaks as she deems necessary, at the world going by. She gets excited when she (apparently) sees her BFF, a Golden Lab, halfway up the street. She picks up and gives the appropriate greeting to other dogs she sees on our walks from a distance of at least 500 feet. The greenish color can still be seen in her eyes in certain lighting (I think this is fairly normal for older dogs), but the cloudiness is gone. Overall, I consider this a huge improvement.I did a small internet search on these eye conditions in older dogs. There are a number of causes of the eye cloudiness; some serious, some fairly benign. I would urge everyone to check with their vet first ā particularly if there was a very sudden onset of symptoms. But if the vet shrugs it off as a condition due to normal aging, I would strongly suggest that these āVision Bitesā be given a chance. I donāt know that Bellaās vision is normal, in fact Iām pretty sure it isnāt. She has for some time exhibited signs of far-sightedness (difficulty seeing things directly under her nose), but so did our last border collie. It may be peculiar to this breed, or to dogs in general. All I do know is Bellaās quality of life is better now than when we started this regimen, and Iāll take that in a heart beat every time!

They work!
I was very skeptical. But I read all the good reviews so I ordered it. Really have nothing to lose! I have a Jack Russell who is 13 years old and her eyes started getting very cloudy. I already have a Jack Russell who is 18 years old who is completely blind and it breaks my heart. I didn't want the 13-year-old to become blind also. I started giving these bites to her a few weeks ago and her eyes are so much better! Almost all the cloudiness is gone! On top of that fantastic news if you know a Jack Russell-they're very picky eaters. She eats her chew happily which makes it so much easier to get it into her system! Even though the much older one is completely blind I have started to put it on her food now too to see if it can make any difference at all. šš»

2 out of 3 dogs approved
*UPDATE* Great customer service. Customer service contacted me as soon as the review posted to make it better. Top notch customer service!2 of my 3 dogs love this. The oldest one who needs it the most refuses to eat it. I even tried wrapping it in raw beef, he ate around it. I tried wrapping it in cheese, he ate around it. I crushed it up and hide it in wet food, he refused to eat it. I canāt rate on whether it works or not but 2 out of 3 dogs approve the taste. The 2 dogs still love the taste and act like it's a treat.

Tried these for my Senior Dog
Iām giving 4 stars because after 2 months we donāt see much difference for our 16 year old miniature schnauzerās vision. At times it appears her eyes are less cloudy but she still runs into furniture. I ordered another tub because I donāt want to give up hope. She loves the soft treat and she gets one every day.

Helps to keep eye conditions from getting worse
I started purchasing these vision bites 2.5 years ago when my vet told me that my chihuahua had degeneration in her eyes that caused cloudiness in her vision and decreased her night vision. The vet said that it would't decrease her overall daytime vision, but chihuahuas are prone to blindness in old age, so I wanted her to have a supplement. I am so glad that I invested in these for the last 2.5 years of my baby's life (she passed away April 30, 2025) and continue to buy them for my Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix (they always split the jar) who is 11 years old. While her eye degeneration was not "cured," the cloudiness in her eye resolved. Both my dogs loved these--the taste and smell is appealing for dogs. I give the Zesty Paws hip & joint supplement as well and even if I leave the jar open or put them in a bowl exposed to air, they stay soft. That was extremely important in finding a supplement for my chihuahua because she didn't have a lot of teeth, so I was able to easily smash and crumble the supplement over her soft food while my other dog eats hers whole. You get a 90 day supply for less than $40, so it's about 44 cents per supplement, which is a good value for your money. I highly recommend these, esp. on Amazon Subscription.

Great for Yorkies
I was a little skeptical to buy this offline because I like to look at things in person. But when I did see it in person and I found a better price online I decided to go ahead and get it. I have seen a better increasement in my dog's vision as she is a little bit more aware. She's a 16 year old still Terrier Yorkie that has the energy of a puppy.
