Have this connected to my Starlink router. Very easy setup, took less than 5 minutes. Plug and play with automatic POE detection. I like the way all the connectors are on one side including the power. Well engineered piece of kit. Works as designed. Will update if I run into any issues.

Seems to be made very nicely. Metal enclosure. Reassuringly heavy power brick. Worked right out of the box. Note that this is an unmanaged switch - the kind that we usually need.I am curious as to why ALL 8 ports are POE. You will almost-always be connecting to your network over a non-POE connection, so in practice you'd need a maximum of 7 POE ports. But as stated, it's working fine as it is. POE ports, can, of course, usually connect fine with non-POE devices.Right now I'm only powering one Open Mesh (now Datto) WiFi access point, but I'm sure it will have no trouble with more of these. EDIT 11-20-2019 now powering 3 of these access points, with no issues, of course.I've been generally pleased with Xyxel products, so am hoping for more of the same here.

Good product. It works well with my PoE+ wifi extenders.

I used this to power my 3x POE surveillance camera, and it worked without a hitch. Metal housing looks and feels great. Since it is a unmanaged switch, all you needed to do and plug-in the cables and off you go.Zyxel’s online support page has pretty decent amount of tutorials and guides. I also own a Zyxel gateway and managed switch, which all work great on its own.
