Fry in butter! Yum!
This great when pan fried in butter on all sides then dipped in soy sauce. A bit pricey but worth it..unique snack that's always yummy 😋

Delicious and Healthy
They don't have the words to explain the nostalgia of this, but we used to have another time when I was younger. I have fond memories of sitting in front of the oven, face pressed to the glass, watching the mochi puff up. It's almost impossible to find at this point, almost no one sells it. Having it back in my kitchen has been wonderful and holding back my excitement so I don't burn myself by eating it too soon has been difficult. It's delicious stuff, crispy on the outside once you bake it, and gooey on the inside. I like putting peanut butter in so it melts for a fantastic snack.

I LOVE this Mochi!
I Carefully cut the pieces in half length wise and bake in my. waffle iron which does not have settings, for 7 minutes. I enjoy putting. on all kinds of toppings: fresh avocado, chili, taco fillings, nut butter and maple, nut butter and jam, cooked fruits, spaghetti sauce and kidney bears and more. Great, crisp, organic, gluten free base for dozens of meals!! Heat up some pizza toppings with a little thick sauce, put on waffle when it comes out, sprinkle shredded cheese and melt under the broiler! Delicious, gluten free pizza!

MOLDY!
This mochi was expensive, and it was moldy when it arrived. I am trying to get a refund and it says ineligible! I checked reviews and others also received moldy mochi. I’ve bought other Eden products in the past and thought they were a better brand that would stand behind their products. I won’t be buying from Eden again.

Agreeably bland
I really like this product. It's agreeably bland, which means that I can pair it with many different foods. This morning, for example, I toasted (450° in my toaster oven) it and munched it along with tuna, avocado, fresh basil, and fresh dill. Other times, I've enjoyed it with sardines or a bit of roast chicken and fresh basil. As a dessert or evening treat, it's quite yummy with almond butter and whatever spices you like. I've drizzled vanilla extract, or cinnamon, or cocoa powder -- or all of them! I gave it only four stars instead of five because the quality tends to vary. Sometimes it's really fresh, while other times it's rock-hard -- as though it's been sitting in the warehouse for a while. I've discovered that regardless of the condition, it helps the texture and flavor A LOT to freeze it first, then defrost and use. This is the only unadulterated mochi that I know of; all the others have gimmicky ingredients to make it more "commercially viable." Some years ago, there was a truly superb mochi -- far better than this in every way -- made by Grainaissence (sp?), but they're no longer in business. So this mochi is pretty much it! BTW, it's also available on the Vitacost website, for a better price.

convnenient snack food
Mochi is a delicious, convenient snack. whole grain, non gmo. great for carbohydrate lovers. I'm gluten free so this is a good substitute at times when I used to grab a piece of toast.

Nice texture but the flavor depends on how you use it.
Not as "sweet" as I would have thought. It tastes mostly like nothing and a little like soy milk. It's got a very pleasant texture and is filling so it's definitely useful if you're dieting and trying to cut out white rice and bread from your diet. I might try this with a little cinnamon and maple syrup in the morning -maybe even nutmeg or pumpkin spice. It should go well. If you want to bake it in a toaster oven, I tried it at 400° F for 8 mins. It came out hot, so about 2-3 mins cooling is a good idea.
