I’ve been on the lookout for 10 AWG solid core at my local home centers for months now, but all I can ever seem to find is stranded core - very difficult to tighten under a grounding screw at the lower gauges. Considering the apparent supply shortage for this item, I was a little nervous that the claimed solid core specification might be an error. But my fears turned out to be unfounded. It was exactly what I needed, in the right quantity, at a great price. I received the product within two days of ordering. Completely satisfied, and I will gladly do business with this vendor again.

Good wire for grounding but is not very flexible.

The photo compares this solid, 10 AWG wire (green jacket) with a "regular" / "indoor" piece of solid 12 AWG (black jacket), and you can clearly see the difference in the conductor thickness. The green jacket wire is THHN/THWN (and labeled as such) - and that's what you want when using it outdoors or in otherwise harsh environments. The big box stores have similar wire, but they are typically sold on spools of 100 feet (or if you have the time and patience, you might find someone to cut a smaller piece for you to buy). This option was much less hassle and the wire itself is as good or better. If I had additional grounding (bonding to the intersystem bonding connector) needs, I'd buy again.

I have a DIY solar system setup and install this as part of my DIY Combiner box with lightning arrester. So far so good.

It looks like a qualaty product and had a very fast turnaround!!

I used this wire on a couple of ground connections. The wire is stiff but pliable. I was exactly what I expected. I also have ordered some more for another project. I do recommend the wire.
