I have used a full-body, inflatable mattress when traveling to try to duplicate the elevation of our adjustable bed at home. It has always lost air in one of the 4 sections of the mattress, made me perspire, and was huge to always have to fly or travel with. The last time it deflated, I declared that it was the last time I would use it! So I got online and found this wedge, ordered two so my husband could have one also, and we took our first trip. (After trying them out twice during a nap.) We love them, and it is even more comfortable than my full-body mattress. It gives me the upper elevation I need to prevent lower back pain, and by adjusting the amount of air, it was very comfortable. And it takes far less room for traveling purposes. Great purchase!

I have a hiatal hernia and am more comfortable with the head of the bed elevated. We have an adjustable base bed but ordered these for traveling. We did try putting them under the pillow but on top of the mattress. It was ok but they are more comfortable if but under the top mattress. They also help with my husband's snoring. We did have one that leaked a small bit after 3-4 nights. However the other one lasted the full week. Perhaps the valve wasn't quite as snug. When I tried to inflate, they made an noise somewhat like a moose only higher pitch. My husband did not seem to have that problem. They do deflate and fold up compactly.

Took a little time to get around to write a review...Unfortunately, this inflatable wedge pillow was a complete waste of money. I bought it to use during an extended trip earlier this year. After less than two weeks of nightly use, it started leaking air. By the middle of the night, it would be practically flat. We could not detect a hole, and figured out that the valve itself was leaking air. By the time that we got home, it was wayyy past the return window for it.

I have an adjustable bed at home, but needed this pillow for travel. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it works exactly how I need it to. I have acid reflux and this pillow puts me at a better angle so I can sleep without symptoms. The pillow is comfortable, quiet and easy to inflate. It hardly loses air. I've only had to add a small amount of air once in a week. The size is perfect. I bought this pillow because it was larger than some of the others. I highly recommend this pillow!!!

Got this pillow for travel use. I found it quite comfortable and relatively easy to blow up and deflate. Worked great the first two times I used it. Third time I used it I woke up in the middle of night with it deflated under me. Did not last long. Wish I could return. Won't be buying a new one.

The quality of the pillow was excellent and it is perfect for traveling. It inflated easily. My problem was comfort. I have a foam wedge pillow that I use every night at home. This inflatable wEdge pillow is shorter than my foam one. For whatever reason, it was very uncomfortable and hurt my neck. If you have suggestions, I would appreciate it, because I would really like to use it while traveling.

I'm pleasantly surprised with this pillow. I sometimes sleep over my significant other's house or with an old family friend that my mom takes care of. This let's me take the comfort I need anywhere I go.I do get pretty bad heart burn and have some shoulder pains and this helps immensely. I don't have to inflate it all the way to get the comfort level I want. (usually takes me about 25 breaths if I don't use my backpacking bag pump)The only thing I can really complain about (and for me this is minor) is the pillow case. It's thin and the zipper is alright. It's lightweight, durable enough to go through the washer/tumble dry, and the zipper hasn't snagged on me yet. I don't like this shade of blue much, but I have a soft fleece blanket over the pillow for extra comfiness, so I never see it anyway.I will also mention that I bought this pillow at the same time I bought a foam wedge pillow from a different brand. It is definitely an adjustment from a regular pillow that I positioned vertically. Don't be surprised if you're sore after the first few nights. If you get heart burn like I do, then you will feel the difference right away.Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase. I get comfy sleep anywhere I go.

I liked that this pillow was compact and light weight. The valve makes it difficult to inflate though. the value requires the depression of the value while you are inflating it by mouth which is dicey. It did deflate easily and rolled up into a bag for easy packing. It would be better to use if you stay more than one night.
