Works with macOS
Bought to add Bluetooth 4.0 support to a 2009 MacBook Pro (built-in Bluetooth is 2.1+EDR) running OSX Sierra (10.11.6), to use a Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3600 which requires Bluetooth 4.0.As other reviewers have said, it is plug-and-play - I was able to immediately pair the mouse, and the cursor movement was smooth.I had a couple of times where the cursor movement became jumpy; disabling the built-in Bluetooth with this command in Terminal and then rebooting fixes that issue:sudo nvram bluetoothHostControllerSwitchBehavior=always

Brilliant. Plug in. Pair with device. Done.
I have a Windows10 PC with which I have been using a pair of cable-connected budget speakers as I have never used the PC as a serious music, film or gaming platform. Having recently acquired a new Bose speaker for everyday use I found myself with a relatively old (6-7 years) Bose Soundlink Mini II without a role in its life. What to do?I bought this TP-Link UB400 to Bluetooth-enable the PC. It’s brilliant. Spectacularly easy to set up. Music in minutes!

"Gotta get myself connected"
Works better than a cheaper one I used before. Needed to play music from my PC to my amplifier. Days afterwards I discovered Airplay which has no jitter in playback. This is still better than a lot of others out there.

Works out of the box, no need to install drivers
Product support wanted quite a lot of information for the warranty, as the ID on the box did not work. Other than that the connection and everything else worked as expected.

Does not work with PS4
There seem to be a lot of false claims about this adapter.Namely, that it works as an adapter with the PS4It doesn't. Do Not Buy if you want to use with the PS4.

works on linux
Works out the box on Kubuntu 20.04 LTS. Just plug it in and it works.A couple of weeks ago I bought my first pair of wireless ear buds and had a bluetooth dongle from about 10 years ago, that kept dropping the signal and walking across the room the signal would drop. Haven't had one dropped signal with the TP link and surprisingly I can walk into other rooms and upstairs and still have a signal.
