Pros/Cons Yes I recommend it !!!!! :)
Waited to write until I have used this steamer a few times. (Everyday now for 2 weeks) Pros: It was very easy to put together! Yeah! Heats up quick! Yeah! Awesome on Khaki Pants. 100% Cotton. Does a GREAT job!!!! Takes a bit longer to steam 100% Cotton Button Down Dress Shirts. I find if you steam both sides the inside and outside it will look better. Yes takes a bit longer but the look is a cleaner crisp look. Does a great job on the sleeves and collar. Does awesome job on kids school shirts and skirts. (Kids love to use it) Cons: Not tall enough. I find that I have to bend or even sit down to steam bottom of shirts and pants. The extender should be longer. The lettering is off the handle already from the steam. Gets very hot with steam so watch your surroundings. The white tubing gets very hot. (Should be a longer holder handle) The hanger can be annoying at times. Uggggh! The steamer itself needs a longer tube to reach around the back so you can continue to steam in one action. When twisting the cap on make sure its on even so no water will drip out. (I think this is why some leaked you have to make sure you twist the cap on even) I have a hard time steaming Dress Shirts with pockets. (The front pocket takes longer to steam) Even with all the cons I would still recommend and use the steamer everyday. I hate ironing!!!!! I do feel that in the beginning it did take or feel like it was taking longer but now that I have used almost everyday for 2 weeks I LOVE it haven't touched the iron at all!

No more wrinkled clothes!
I use this every day, and I'm not even exaggerating. I don't own an iron because I don't like the idea that I could burn my clothes (paranoid, I know) so instead I steam everything. Works way faster than ironing, way better than throwing clothes in the dryer to release wrinkles, and WAY better than the hack in which you hang your clothes in the bathroom while you're taking a steamy shower (don't lie because I know you've tried it). The concept is simple--you put water in the reservoir, turn it on, wait for steam to flow out, apply steam to wrinkled clothes, and right before your eyes, you will see wrinkles instantly disappear. I've had many garment steamers, but this so far has not broken and it's my favorite! It has clips, shoulders, and a hook for hanging the garment on there however you want. It adjusts up or down, although it doesn't get that tall.. still love it though. I've had mine for quite a while now, but it works just as well as it did on day one. I think it's totally worth the price!

Makes Life Easier...and Presses Clothes!
I have tried several of the hand held steamers. They do a just ok job, need to be refilled multiple times during a single press and die within a year or so. I decided to bite the bullet, pay a little more and go for a more substantial garment steamer. I read the reviews, considered Rowenta's reputation and went with this steamer...and glad that I did so. . It does a great and quick job, is fairly light weight, has a sizable water reservoir and makes ironing and garment prep easy and actually fun. The nozzle does get hot, so user needs to grip far enough down on handle so as to avoid the steam..otherwise, a great investment. I am buying 3 more to give to family members as a useful gift. Just love it.

Overall a good buy, solid product!
After 2 uses, here is my initial feedback. I will update the review after a few months of usage. Before and after pictures of a lightly worn but heavily creased 95% cotton shirt are attached (after ~3 minutes of steaming per side) So overall: can any steamer completely replace a solid steam iron? NO! But this steamer does a great job of rejuvenating and penetrating wrinkles on clothing of different material. Assembly and setup is a breeze (5 minutes at most) and as indicated in the manual, the steamer takes about a minute to heat up and produce steam (some crackling in regular use but that is normal). There is only one steam level but by my estimation so far, it is adequate for most fabrics including delicates. The telescopic handle is a good concept, however the reason I am deducting a star is that it will require most average height folk (5 ft 6 and above) to squat while steaming the lower ends of garments. Additionally, if you are steaming long dresses or overcoats they are more than likely to drape over the floor even at the maximum height of the pole. Some users have reported water spitting, however, if you take care not to fill the water level beyond max and also, use the steamer only in a vertical, up-and-down motion and not horizontally as indicated in the manual, you should have no such issues. I am impressed with the consistency of the steam production and when using the fabric brush attachment, the steam does penetrate different fabrics efficiently. Yet to use the other attachment including the lint and the crease but will do so over the next few months.

Disappointing design, but does the basic job
A garment steamer is never going to take the place of an actual iron and board in my household, but it is convenient and effective for knocking the major wrinkles out of clothing. If you like sharp-creased pants and crisp shirts, you will be seriously disappointed with this tool. If you just want to keep your lightweight clothes from looking like they were stored in a chicken's butt, then this steamer is a solution for you. Assembly was simple, just snap a few pieces together and fill the tank (tap, tap/distilled, or even bottled water). Once the machine has power, good steam is flowing in about a minute. The large water tank allows me to finish a bunch of shirts in one go. I found it easier to put each shirt on my own hanger and then hook that on the pole, instead of wrangling the clothes onto the mounted hanger form. The steam works well on t-shirts, lightweight dresses, shorts: I steam out the wrinkles on one side, quickly flip the hanger, and do the back. It's simple to use, which means everyone in the family can do their own clothes when needed. This machine only gets 3 stars from me for a couple of reasons. First, the pole is too short, which means I have to crouch down to steam the lower sections of the clothes (and some dresses are almost to the floor). Second, the hose starts sputtering and delivering less steam when it's curved to reach the lower areas. I tried hanging the clothes on a wall hook instead, but then of course the hose is too short. Overall, this machine is OK and a good option for people who hate ironing (and just need their clothes not to look like they slept in them). I do more steaming than ironing these days!

Wonderful... I am totally pleased!
For years I've had a "semi-professional" clothes steamer. Living in a dry climate, wrinkles do not fall out of clothes on their own so I steam clothes several times a week. My previous steamer needed to be replaced due to leakage from the water tank. Experience told me that I wanted a steamer with full power for quick wrinkle release. The Rowenta IS6200 steams quickly, with full steam & works quite efficiently. I am totally pleased! My previous steamer required distilled water to prevent mineral build up but the Rowenta specifically states not to use distilled water. That's a plus. What is not a plus is that it also says to drain the water tank after each use. Like that's going to happen. The removable reservoir is too tall to fill from a standard bathroom sink. It's necessary to fill it from a deeper sink such as a kitchen sink. I'm not used to the attached hangar enough to state whether I like it. It's a matter of changing habits with it. I am totally pleased with the Rowenta IS6200.

Steamer Works Very Well
Very nice Steamer that works well. Like others have said, the hose does get warm when you use the steamer for long periods of time. I used mine for hours steaming wrinkles out of new drapes and never had to get my oven mitts due to the hose being too hot. Also, I had a few drips but found that if I dabbed the steamer head on a towel to absorb the moisture collected on the brush, no more drips on the drapes. After hours of steaming, the moisture on the head was to be expected. I read the instructions and they cover every detail of the machine and the warnings are explicit. Take heed and you will love this machine as long as you use it safely. I have not tried steaming clothes so cannot comment on that.

Rowenta is BOSS
This unit gets ready extremely fast and puts out as much steam as the larger "commercial unit". The water tank is large enough to steam for a long time without refilling. The unit itself is well designed, lightweight and attractive. The hose is sturdy, both in appearance and application. The hose does get hot upon use (this is a steamer after all) but is made of a woven mesh type material and won't burn you, simply force you to pull your hand back quickly. At around 100 dollars, this steamer is an absolute steal. Rowenta is a German brand, known for high quality irons and steamers, can't go wrong here
