FAIRY TAIL Manga Box Set 1 (FAIRY TAIL BOX SET)

Okay I absolutely love the Anime!! So I just had to purchase the Manga Volumes!!The delivery came on time and the books were in perfect condition!! Ooo it also came with cute stickers, which I love!!But I do have to comment on the fact that the box-sets are really pricey!!I understand, that it’s because of how popular the the series is but~ damnThere are also series that I’ve purchased with 14Volumes [3books MORE] that are much cheaper than the price on this box-set BUT the series are just as popular as Fairy Tail ~just saying....But it’s a great purchase~

They were in great condition when they turned up, and was happily surprised with the cute sticker set that came with it.

Not read them yet was waiting for them all. Then watch the series lol. I did read a little bit and they are awesome

If you're fan of the series, I highly recommend. Especially if you can get in new condition but cheaper! I got mine from Book etc and it costed a lot less, it was £60.. Very worth it in my opinion.

Brought as a gift so can't comment on the content but they look great and I think they will be greatly recieved

My son has been heavily into manga/anime for the past few years. A gentle introduction from the likes of Pokemon has developed into One Piece, Black Clover, My Hero Academia and now, Fairy Tale!As other reviewers have commented, this box set is very highly priced in comparison with some of the aforementioned titles (I have never paid more than £65 for each of the One Piece box sets and they contain 23 volumes each!). So, an RRP of £100 for 11 books, is simply a price I would never pay (even Amazon's price of £66 made me a little twitchy). However, I got lucky and managed to purchase one for £40. (Part of me wondered if it would actually arrive, but it was delivered and it was the correct item!!)In terms of the presentation, I would classify this as a cardboard sleeve rather than a box, which again weighs heavily against the RRP. An 'exclusive' sticker sheet of half a dozen stickers equally doesn't justify the cost compared to buying the books individually.Would I recommend buying this box set? If you are not in an immediate rush to purchase, keep an eye on the ever fluctuating sellers' prices: if you can get hold of one sub-£55, I would say buy it. Otherwise, compare it against the prices of individual volumes and consider whether the cardboard sleeve is worth the extra cost to you.
