Great beginner kit
This is a great kit for your DIY beginner. Very simple to install in your drive way with simple tools, and a friend. You can even build off this kit and go bigger with a few extra simple parts. Still run your stock track bar but if you add spacers to this, you will need to get an adjustable track bar like I did. I would also recommend new brake lines. My driver side one was maxed out on a full right turn. I didn't use the add a leafs. Instead I opted to buy new springs instead. Easier and faster install. Otherwise this is a great kit and rides about stock. I fit 31x10.50x15 on my stock rims without an issue. Slight rub on full turn on lower control arm but that's to be expected.

Great for the price!
I've had this installed for months now and had zero issues. Looks great, and if you're not doing crazy offroading I think it's a solid option. No big problems with the install, and everything seemed well made. I did put the drop spacers on it as well to be safe, and I've gotten 0 vibration or etc

Great product for the price. Everything is as described.
Item is exactly as described. Great product from Rough Country. Had an issue with one of the leaf springs and they send a new one for free after sending some pictures. Customer Service person was great from Rough Country. Might want to get new mounting bolts for the leaf springs, these do not come with kit. Good Luck with you rusty Jeeps everyone

Will need more than this kit
I purchased and installed the kit about 3 months ago and so far everything is running smoothly. As for the install it was anything but smooth. My 2000 XJ had everything just about rust welded together and finding spare bolts or nuts is no easy task without it costing an arm and a leg from the manufacturer. But besides fighting the rust once everything was off the install was easy. In my case I did have to do a transfer case drop with the Rough Country 1 in spacers (Might as well add to cart until you purchase a SYE). Currently only two are on because I sheered the studs in the front and have not been able to get them out. The Rough Country steering stabilizer was another purchase as my previous one was 25 years old and doing absolutely nothing on the vehicle. It has also been great thus far. My only complaint is that the shocks do squeak a little on some turns. At first I thought it was just from them being new but after 3 months it still hasn't gone away. The only other thing is that it is really stiff. Off road on gravel/dirt/sand/mud it has handled well but haven't been anywhere to test it to the limit. All in all I would say well worth for a budget kit. Just make sure you do something about your transfer case to prevent rapid wear and tear on U-joints and your drivetrain. **UPDATE** After a year still impressed with the kit. A little stiff on rutted out roads but handles well over rocky terrain. All the bushings are still surprisingly well. Have had the front springs settle a little and the rears stay strong so it does sit almost an inch lower in the front.

Easy install on a 95 XJ
I have a 95 xj and wanted to get some more ground clearance and this was a great fit. Easy install for my first suspension lift I’ve done. I would suggest to anyone to start lubricating all the bolts and nuts on your XJ the moment you order this kit. It says it will clear 31” tires and that may be the case with some but I did have to do some fender trimming on mine. I’m running 31x10.50 r15 tires with a 15 inch rim -33 offset and a 4” backspacing.

Great kit
Great kit for my 2000 xj limited. Added a 3/4 spacer above the springs in front and it sits perfectly level. Rides better. Pro tip out the axle side on first when installing the lower control arms then ratchet straps to align the body side.

Firm - Easy to Install
I wanted jsut a little more clearance on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ and this did the trick. The old bolts were hard to remove, but once I got past that, it was easy to install. the ride on the old springs and shocks was spongy, now the XJ feels like a JK Wrangler. Much stiffer, better handling and overall better ride. I'm sure there are better shocks than the ones suppled, but these are a huge improvement over the worn out ones that I had before. I also installed the Rough Country - 7572 - Front Adjustable Track Bar for 1.5-4.5-inch Lifts , the Rough Country 87317N2 - Steering Stabilizer with Premium N2.0 Series Shock and a 1" transfer case drop kit. If you don't want to do the install yourself, I got a quote of $750 from a local auto repair shop.

RC has stepped up their game. N3 shocks are great. Ride is really tight, the 92 sits very nice. Depending on your XJ install time will vary, mine was about 4 hours. Be very mindful of degree shim direction. Pinion angle is perfect! I ran with RC lift shackles, 2" rear wheel spacers, 1/4" front spacers and extended rear drive shaft around 2" also put on an extended rear flex line for it to be perfect. Kit comes with both size U-Bolts, dana 35 and 8.25. I recommend swapping to 8.25 rear end (limitied slip preffered, usually 93+) if you have the funds(you won't regret it).
