Itoya Art Portfolios (ITYIA1212)

I have four children who are no longer bringing home 20 art projects a week from elementary school. Over the years I saved and collected what I considered the best of the best of the artwork they brought home from school, camp, at home and other programmes they were in. I had them framed and displayed until we had to do some work on the house.In an effort to reduce clutter (and weight! Picture frames are HEAVY!) I looked and found this type of portfolio on Amazon. It is perfect for kids artwork and now it is all stored in book form that everyone can enjoy at any time rather than spread across many walls in various rooms! Because of the way the book is designed artwork with yarn, cotton balls and other non traditional mediums can be protected and the book still works properly.The pages are heavy enough to feel comfortable and not so heavy that they obscure the artwork. The binding is tight and clean and provides a secure edge for the pages. It's a plastic cover and easy to wipe and keep clean (as are the pages) It holds a remarkable amount of artwork (I use both sides of each sleeve) and the quality is above standard. I would not hesitate to purchase more or to recommend this item to anyone. It's a GREAT purchase and should give many many years of protection and security while enable people to enjoy the contents.

Exactly what I needed for a photo exhibition -- In addition to the photos on the wall, the portfolio, which I leave on a counter at the gallery, contains additional photos for visitors to peruse. I'm very pleased with the portfolio--it's held up well to a lot of handling. The cover is a medium-soft plastic but not so soft or thin as to be flimsy--and it's not too heavy. The inner pages have a black paper insert (like construction paper) which makes for a great background if some of the inserted art is smaller than 11" x 17". The portfolio opens flat and looks quite handsome. It's a good buy for the price, I recommend this product.

Great for keepsake of art and projects. Nice oversized pages can fit larger art and paintings. It has 24 sleeves enoug room for 48 front and back. I used this to showcase my 12 year old son’s art projects from pre-school through 6th grade as a summary keepsake of all of his “ masterpieces”. This enabled me to sort out the stuff we don’t want to keep, contain clutter in the home and have a sturdy display book for the truly wonderful treasures he created for the last 9 years.

I have been storing my prints in individual sheets using a product that Amazon does not sell designated as archival quality. They are clearer than the Itoya sheet meaning that when my pic is inserted is inserted in the Itoya sheet it does not look as bright as the pic itself. It’s a small difference but noticeable ( to me).Also I would like to see a small increase in the width of the sheet opening. It’s too tight around the borders of the picture.Well constructed product

This is precisely what I was looking for in an inexpensive but functional and sturdy portfolio. The pages are thick enough to lay flat and with the opening at the top items don’t fall out. Nicest of all, the sleeves are just wide and long enough to accommodate 11 x 17 medium without permitting it to move around.
