A thing of beauty is a joy forever. This pipe tool is worth what I paid for it. It does the job it was designed to do. Looks great. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to any pipe smoker.

In my humble opinion as an aged hippie who has been chain smoking a pipe for over forty years, the Ylyycc 3 in 1 as sold by coolhighhappy is best of three purchased on Amazon. This is for initial quality, but I have high expectations for its continued excellence. The tamper is round and proper diameter for all pipes (even those have cake build up), and both the tamper and nozzle cleaner are adequately exposed to effect easy opening. Finally, but not least of all, the silhouette as a pipe is way cool.As for the also rans, the Executive Desktop Pipe Tool - Tamper, Reamer & Pick 3-in-1 Tool - Oak Wood & Stainless Steel - Heavy Duty tamper is too large, but a few minutes with the grinder in the garage will fix this. The Durable Matt Lightweight Stainless Steel Spike Tamper Reamer 3-in-1 Tobacco Pipe Tool is a puzzle in that the scraper sticks making withdrawal very difficult. This was not an initial condition, so I suspect something from my pocket has jammed the hinge.

Perhaps there's more than one of these that get shipped out. I've read the reviews and am unable to fathom some of them. When I received this I inspected it carefully, running my fingers over every part of it looking for poor craftsmanship. I found nothing sharp, jagged, misaligned or ill fitting in any way. Of course I'm using it as a pipe tool, its intended purpose, and it does everything it's supposed to do. It's much more respectable than the aluminum nail shaped tool I've been using for the past 25 years. Feels nice in the hand. Looks nice and functions exactly as it was designed to operate. Very reasonably priced with free Prime shipping. Highly recommended. I guess some people are never happy. I'm happy and this hasn't chipped my happiness in any way.

I've been smoking a pipe since my teenage years...A tool such as this with a tamper, scraper, and tong for cleaning and unclogging is essential to any pipe smoker...Like most smokers, I used the plain no frills metal one that has been around forever...But recently I lost it and came on Amazon for a replacement...I was surpsied to come across this jewel that is not only really nice but reasonably priced as well. It may be a little fancy but that does not get in the way of it being even more useful than the old fashioned traditional tool. I am really enjoying it and I highly recommend this to any pipe smoker for themselves, or as a fine gift...Don't wait till you lose yours like me, its worth the purchase now..:)

Bought this for a gift and it is nice looking and the tools are useful, IF they would stay where they belong. The "tools" fall out of their storage slots and are all dangly and in the way. Not worth the trouble to return and then get another useless or soon-to-break pipe tool.
