I initially bought one of the siren extension but it did not work beyond two feet from the main system unit. I returned it as defective and received a replacement but that one did not work any better.I don't know if there is a problem with the main system panel or the range of the sirens themselves and MACEAlert tech support were not able to help.

Wireless siren doesn't trigger every time. Could be mounting location. It is loud when it works which is most of the time.

Siren is loud but will only work when alarm is set in "alarm" mode not "alert" mode. So it will not make any sound it the chime signal is sounding while in "alert" mode.

Title says it all. Setup with the SOLO Alarm System was quick and easy. I bought this as a hidden secondary measure to help protect my small 10x25 workshop and although it may not be the loudest siren, between this and the built in siren on the SOLO console it becomes almost nauseating after about 20 seconds in there! Great add-on to the Mace SOLO System.

No way to expand, no chance of more door/window modules. No chance of adding motion sensor, no longer supported by manufacturer. Would be great otherwise, if you only need what comes with it go ahead and buy it
