Supersonic SC58 - Digital TV Converter Box

Have bought a couple of these in order to have the "timeshift" (pause) and recording capability when watching over-the-air programming.... (need to have your own USB external hard drive or thumb-drive for this to work). Wish the electronics would allow for connecting directly to a USB hub and/or PC, but not a big deal. Also like having the ability to see a TV guide with descriptions for OTA. The two concerns with this device are 1) the lack of IR strength for the remote --- direct line-of-sight only AND about a ten-foot range ONLY, and 2) there's a glitch with some stations where the box will just "HANG" and reboot if the signal is not strong enough to pull in. More an annoyance than anything. For the price, it's not bad.

It works, but the clock fails once a day. If I want to record something daily, I have to make sure the clock is set correctly and make sure the times are set correctly before I go to bed each and every day.

Works. I have not figured out how to find a channel guide or if there is a recording capability. Occasionally needed rebooting. This is what I've used since cutting cable/satellite. Not as slick or feature rich, but I didn't expect it to be given how much my bills have dropped.

Worked well for about 6 months. After that, it stopped working.

Works very well but hard to learn system and clock keeps changing time zones. Plus you cannot manually set the time. It has some sort of auto time set that is sometimes 15 minutes off making it hard to record with timer.

Works nicely. It has the outputs (AV, HDMI, cable) needed to connect to the TV input. I use the AV output / input and the channels come in clear. Using the cable output / input the clarity is reduced with some "snow" or static, but that is somewhat expected. The device needs to be connected to a good antenna to receive the local over the air channels.
