It does taste like peas, there's no getting away from that fact. If you eat it plain (or test when cooking) it is almost quite bitter from the tang and quite unpleasant. However, chuck it with a bolognese sauce or some canned cherry tomatoes and it is lovely - you don't notice the taste, just the bizarre colour! Do not cook it for too long, it will turn to mush.

Organic, Tasty. Great alternative to wheat based pasta, cooks in the same time, tastes the same. Higher protein count than normal pasta and a great way to get more veg in your diet. Some people who have eaten it do say the texture is slightly different but it is not something I have noticed.

I tried this pasta last night. It cooked ok in nine minutes but I just don’t like it. It’s powdery in texture and the flavour isn’t great. Pity, as I was hoping to increase my protein whilst decreasing my carbs. Others may enjoy it.

Experienced cook. Purchased this many times before product got rebranded to new no plastic in cardboard packaging. Product says it’s vegan but it’s not as it says on box not suitable for egg sufferers due to manufacturing methods. Really poor quality. Box 3/4 powdered bits and turns to mush the soon as any water hot or cold hits it. It didn’t to that before packaging changed. Now I left with a bowl of mush to convince my autistic child to eat. Cannot afford to waste money on expensive products during cost of living crisis’ and Amazon do not allow returns for food items even if they are faulty so beware

Brought for a friend who needs Gluten Free. She did not find the taste or texture to her taste and has asked me not to buy her anymore.
