This shampoo is rich in feel, extremely light nicely scented fragrance, easy to make a rich feeling lather which left my hair looking fully nourished, soft, easy to brush and full in volume. Have not tried long enough to see benefit from DHT blocking element yet a great start. Best shampoo properties I have ever tried. Substantial quality shampoo in good size bottle and they give consumer an option of a pump dispenser which is separately packaged, or, simple punch cap to dispense the product. Excellent!

Middle aged Caucasian woman with massive hair fall for 2 years. Have tried a LOT of stuff. Coupled this with a satin pillowcase and after 2 weeks noticed... No handful of hair in the shower anymore!!! Not saying this will work for everyone... Depends on your source of hair loss... But it's now been about 3 months and still no hair fall and baby hairs EVERYWHERE on my head. So many baby hairs, in fact, I had to chemically straighten my hair because they were sticking up everywhere and it looked like frizz. I've been chemically straightening my hair for a decade at home so I'm used to that. Still no hair fall after the chemical treatment. And I box dye my hair at home... Still no hair fall!! Like maybe 3 hairs when I shampoo, versus the ~50 I was losing each daily wash.HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING A SATIN PILLOWCASE on top of trying this.If this shampoo doesn't work for you, find one with tea tree oil... It keeps demodex mites at bay which can also cause hair fall (demodicosis).Oh also, I heat style my hair daily, like usual... And... Still growing in. I am so excited. I thoughti was just gonna go bald by the time I hit menopause!

It leaves my scalp refreshed and rinses cleanly. I like the pump dispenser that gives me the the same amount every time. I've been using similar DHT blocking shampoos for over three years to stop hair loss which seems to be working. I love that this Shiny Leaf product is reasonably priced and of good quality. What would top it all off would be to see some amount of regrowth, but I'm pleased just keep what I have. After using just 1/3 of the bottle I will definitely buy this again.

I was unsure about it because there are a lot of products out there. I read the reviews and everyone was talking about what it has done for them and the scent.I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and I love the scent. Hoping to keep the hair I got and make it more healthy. Praying it’ll reverse some of it and it’ll begin to grow back.Gonna buy more and support a company that’s located in Las Vegas where I’m currently living.

I bought the DHT shampoo for my husband who’s hair started thinning out. It’s been about a week of using it and he loves it. It’s too early to tell if it’s making a difference or not, but the shampoo smells good, feels great. The bottle/pump design makes this shampoo almost unusable

I have used many anti-DHT shampoos in the past and there really is no great way of telling if they work well, if at all. However, Shiny Leaf is paraben-free, which is what basic wax is and you don’t want a waxy substance in your hair that builds up. It also is sulfate-free which is very good as sulfates can cause irritation of the scalp (sulfates used to be rumored to be carcinogens, but that is now false). The DHT blocker is a common ingredient and seems to be used in a lot of shampoos to stop DHT (it damages the root of the hair).The price is good for 16 ounces and the feel of the shampoo is smooth without greasiness. My own recommendation is to shampoo your hair quickly to clean it and then under the hottest water to run through your scalp to open pores and hair root shafts. After a minute or so of hot water, apply the Shiny Leaf to your hair. Leave it in at least three minutes so it can be absorbed through your scalp and then thoroughly rinse it all out. Your hair feels smooth without any buildup of any product.The price and quality are good, and you really should not be spending a lot of money on hair products if you don’t have to. Genetics is a big player in hair loss, but this shampoo will take care of any other hair loss causes.

It is decent shampoo. It certainly doesn't keep my hair from falling out, but I didn't expect that it would be some sort of magic. So, I've continued buying and using it. Now, the last 2 bottles have had pump dispensers that do not work at all. So, I will never buy this again -- it's not worth the expense.

At first my friend told me about it and how his hair falls alot and how I should get it since mine does the same. I said what the hell and went with it. I was shocked by the result. I've never heard of DHT blocker or what it does. I didn't even know the product but it works... like really works. When washing my hair before, my hands would be covered in hair but now I get 1/4 of the amount of hair I use to get on my hands plus my hair looks much better and healthier. I never use to believe in this stuff but now I do lol. You can call me a sucker I guess lol. This is my personal review but I recommend it to all my friends and to whoever is reading this. Give it a try.
