Q: Is this wired on the edges?

There is wire throughout the whole ribbon. The one I bought is absolutely beautiful. Teal, color for Ovarian Cancer event. The roll is large, long and beautiful. Wire is on the edges, but not just on edges. Very each to handle and sturdy to hold shape. Good deal.

Q: How long can this be in direct sun before it fades substantially?

I use mine during Christmas on my garland outside and it lasts a about one and a half seasons. I keep my decorations up from mid November till mid January. I guess it would be safe to say about 3.5 months. I use the red one so the fading shows a little more so s it’s darker.
