I need to master the electric guitar
I am still a beginner. I know only a few positions with which to play in. This book offers a detailed lesson plan where I need to practice 90 minutes every day for 14 days. Minimum. I am very happt with this book.

A very useful book with one exception. Four and a half stars.
The book is well written and easy to understand. It is well-organized especially regarding the structure and usefulness of the daily practice activities which is the kind of arrangement I need to keep me organized and moving forward. The audio examples are quite helpful by providing a model to learn from. My only complaint is that it uses tab only and no music notation. Tab can be quite useful in learning where to place your fingers but not so helpful in learning the notes on the fretboard. Consequently, I have to translate from numbers to notes during the exercises. The tab issue may just be my concern so if you are looking for a very helpful learning tool then I do recommend this book.

Great help for understanding and playing pentatonic scales
I have only been learning guitar for a year and a half and understand how important pentatonic scales can be for improvising. This breaks down learning the scales into small sections by the day. You can learn at your own pace. I find the downloads helpful to judge when I'm ready to move on to the next lesson.
