Uniden BWZG1844001 GPS Adapter Cable for BCD396XT/ 346XT/ HOMEPATROL & DMA Scanners

I can't complain about the cable. What I will complain about, is that Uniden is a little ambiguous as to whether or not the cable is necessary to order separately for use with their GPS unit. I ordered it, thinking that I might be able to use it with a Garmin GPS unit, that I have. It seems that there is a way to do that, but I haven't figured that out yet. I eventually ordered the Uniden GPS unit for the scanner and found that it came with this cable. No problem with the cable, but I find that I don't need it.

Works well for BCD436HP + Garmin GPS puck.

This cable works great and is a very cost effective solution to connect your Homepatrol scanner to the gps cables.

Will not work with Uniden BC-SGPS GPS Kit without using a gender changing adapter.

No complaints about the cable. It seems to be well made, but it didn't work for what I needed it to do. I wanted to take the GPS output from a Kenwood TM-D710G transceiver and feed it into my Uniden BCD436HP, bypassing the hockey puck GPS as I already have what I thought was a valid GPS source. On paper, it should work, the TM-D710G outputs the correct GPS sentences with the correct connection parameters, but try as I may, I could not make it work. I'm sure it would work just fine with the Uniden branded hockey puck GPS, so I'll give it another go when I get one.
