Scaregull Spares – Arm

this will be the third arm I have had to buy, ( and a pair of sails) good concept but very poor design, the end of the arms keep breaking off and they then take the sail with it into the sea! it works out very expensive to keep replacing parts, so all in all its a bit of a con, but once you shell out for a unit and get it up and running its good at what it does ie keeps the gulls off the cabin roof, but scaregull need to address the fact that the plastic on the arm ends is far too thin and will snap off .Once bought you have no alternative but to buy replacement parts to keep it going, otherwise all you have is an expensive bit of broken plastic that does nothing.

Much better version than last

Hmm, great concept and the design works well until the arms break. I have now had to replace four arms - they snap off at the ends where the hole is because the plastic is too thin. The cost of two replacement arms is more expensive than buying the complete kit so all in all a bit of a con unfortunately.

Bonjour. La paire avec les voiles a tenu 6 semaines pour l un et 3 mois pour l autre. L ancienne fabrication tenait plusieurs années sur le même bateau au même mouillage. Je vais chercher une autre solution.
