Fantastic for running.
I bought a pair of size 12 Xero Men's Prio Cross Training shoes, as I have been having issues with running. I have always had issues with my feet, as I'm a size 11.5 wide shoe, and find it difficult to buy shoes off the shelf. I was going to buy a pair of 2E width proper running shoes, but subsequently discovered barefoot / minimalist training shoes just in time. I had started running bare foot on my home treadmill, and had learnt how to land on the ball of my feet, rather than the heel. I then decided to buy a pair of the Xero Prio shoes, taking a size 12, being a half size larger, for feet swelling during running. The shoes are flexible, very lightweight, and with the inner 3mm insole removed, I get a little extra room in the wide toebox. It's almost impossible to revert back to heel running when you learn how to run in these shoes. You can also increase or decrease the tension with the laces, that also wrap around the shoe, held in place with fabric bands, on the side of the shoe. These shoes are very comfortable, have room at the toe for wide feet, easily flexible and breathable, and make running seem almost effortless compared to my old running style on the heel. Seems like Xero has got the balance and shoe technology just right. If you want an almost barefoot running experience, with protection to your feet, I would advise anyone to consider these shoes. Once you get used to the new running pattern on the ball of the foot, as opposed to the heel, the whole barefoot thing makes perfect sense. Seems like I've previously bought the wrong type of shoes all my life, up until buying these. Very happy indeed, and would certainly buy these shoes again. Excellent choice, and also a reasonable price. If you do a lot of running or training, foot health is vital and Xero seem to have made these shoes to promote just that.

Amazing shoes
I’m really happy with these barefoot shoes. They are very light, flexible, and my husband says they feel almost like walking without shoes. The material is good quality, the fit is true to size, and they are comfortable even after a full day of wearing them. He loves the natural feel and better balance they give him. Definitely worth it.

My favourite shoe
I absolutely love these as my day to day shoe. I had the women's versions but found them too narrow for my feet. Old faithful Vs brand new arrivals. My previous pair survived 2 Glastonbury festivals as my only footwear used (hence it's rough appearance!) Vs my nice new pair that arrived yesterday. I've had my previous pair for 2 nearly 3 years and the insole has worn away and so has some of the sole. But given this is my 90% of the time shoe and the huge number of steps put on them through glasto I've been thoroughly impressed with the durability of them. That why I bought a second pair. I have a different model of the Xero that I use for OCR and the gym and really like them too. They are a quality brand of barefoot shoe that looks decent and less clown or beach shoe like others can. The only criticism I have is sizing, I've never experienced different men and women's sizes until barefoot shoes, surely it would make more sense to just call them narrow or wide because I have to purchase the mens version which I have no issues with (I like mens shorts and trousers because, you know, pockets!!) but some people may be put off or not want to buy shoes labelled for the opposite sex.

Great shoe if only it was more breathable
Super comfy shoe, great for running, not waterproof but it doesn’t claim to be. Wish it was more breathable, but having paid £50 for it I’m happy

A good quality product
A good quality/comfortable wide toe box shoe. Expensive but lasts a long time so pays for itself

Excellent shoes.
I love these trainers. They look great and so could be worn with jeans when you go out. They are my main go to trainers for going out. I’m a fan of Xero and the ethos of the company. I think they are better style, comfort and value for money than their main competitors Vivobarefoot. They are lightweight, stylish, comfortable and they are true to size. Well worth the investment. Most highly recommended.

I loved these the moment I put them on.
At first I was worried they wouldn’t fit, my previous shoes were 5 1/2 and I ordered the 6 1/2, but they were perfect. They feel not like you’re barefoot, but sort of a middle ground between socks and shoes. You’ll probably have to double knot them because the laces come undone very easily. Funny thing, I’m only 9 ish days in and my feet don’t tickle any more. If your a parent with particularly young kids I also recommend getting them barefoot shoes to encourage proper, natural development.

Lasted 3 months
I've been wearing barefoot shoes for nearly ten years and love trying different brands. The best are Vivo and I don't mind a pair of Merrel to save a bit of money. I'd heard of Xero but we're always very expensive in the UK but saw these for £90 and thought I'd give them a try. I didn't like the look of them as soon as they arrived. They look like bad looking school shoes and felt a bit tight. However, I've worn them a lot over the last 3 months until I noticed the sole coming away on both shoes. Amazon agreed to refund and return without any issue but I'll never buy Xero again.
