Streamlight, Siege X Rechargeable Lantern, Coyote

I have been a gear nut and outdoorsman for 3 decades. These are the best Lanterns on the market by far! The quality is superb! The brightness, diff modes and the well thought engineering cannot be spoken highly enough. AND all in a very small package with rechargeable battery. I now own 4 of these!!

After my initial WTF moment, I played around with it and found it to be very capable. This little light packs a punch!I use several different Steamlight products, all with the SL-B26 rechargeable batteries and find the very handy to use and store. I keep several charged batteries on hand ready to go at all times. You can also use CR123 batteries.It has 3 white brightness levels, a nice red function (with SOS) and a flashlight function. All functions are easily accessed by the one button which is also a battery strength meter.It is solidly built easy to use and carry and perfect for any campsite, tent or around the house. I will be buying a few more of these!

Just like most (if not all) Streamlight products, this lantern is great. It's bright even at it's lowest settings, it doesn't matter if you're using the flash, lantern or red light, it's bright. It' durable, well made, and reasonably priced for a high-end multi purpose light. The clip and the handle makes this light easy to hang almost anywhere, securely. Another great thing about this light is that it can be used with any 18650 batteries (except the flat top batteries). Obviously, the advertised run time will differ depending on the battery used. When I tried the included Streamlight battery, the advertised run time is accurate (@ 325 lumens, about 4 hours. @ 170 lumens, about 7.1/2 hours. @ 30 lumens, about 25 hours). However, when I tried a different battery, the run time was a little shorter. This light will be good for camping or emergency since you know it will work when you need it. This light is so good I bought another one.

I got two. One in the camper and another that is in the glove box of my truck. They are more compact than expected. They really light up an area well with decent soft light. Clip on one end and a hook on the other make it easy to hang or stage them how ever we want. I like the water proof design and the rubber caps, they are sturdy and well made. The power button can be difficult to find but not a reason to not buy it. The rechargeable battery is a common size, I have extras but don't really need them. Depending on bright, I can get through a three day weekend with one charge. I would recommend having one in every vehicle.

I own one super siege, two sieges, and now this siege X. The siege X is the one to buy. It's brighter than the siege but not as bright as the super. Rechargeable 18650 is great, but be forwarned that it has to be the type with the charging port built in, standard length 18650's with not work. Has the versatility of switching to a flashlight. Excellent for camping or emergency situations. We took all of our siege's on a weeklong camping trip, and the X really gave us the best overall performance. An inverter and a battery charger in the car kept it going. Battery lasts quite awhile.

I really like this torch and exceeds my expectations. It’s very bright on lantern mode and torch mode, red light not so bright, but then you won’t want it to destroy your night vision. I did test it to see if it floats - it doesn’t with the battery in, but will if there is no battery inserted - so that’s not really useful. Easy enough to use ad the power indicator showing green, amber and red is well timed, i.e. when the lantern was showing power reserve into the red, the unit still ran for an hour. Overall, I will definitely buy another for future camping trips.

My 2nd very favorable review of this product. The size and shape are great. Working late in the garden? Drop a tiny screw on a dark floor? Need to open and check the server under your desk or plumbing under the sink? Trying to tie a knot in the truck bed in a parking lot? The light this lantern casts is excellent and fills the room or area you’re working in. I have four and carry one every day; they’re not just for camping any more.I did ding it one star because the rechargeable battery is rather weak. Streamlight’s normal Li batteries are very dependable though (& made in USA).

Great product that I highly recommend for camping, emergencies and general home use. Long lasting lithium battery with built in charging port is a nice feature. Super lightweight making it easy to take along when camping. Buy this light, you won’t regret it.
