Great practice and game ball, nice grip.
Been buying this aWilson ball for a few years now. I purchased them for my Schools Football Team (Middle School). They really like the feel of this ball. It is much better than the ones provided by our district. When we go to games the pother teams as well as the refs ask if they can use our Footballs for the games.

Must read on Jr. leather football!!!
I have bought a lot of footballs but never spent the money on a real leather football and was so excited to do so. This ball has horrible shape, the points are hard as a rock and the grip is very disappointing.Ways this ball could be great:1. Make the entire ball the quality of the stripes2. Get rid of the insanely hard points no kid wants to play with that3. Make the ball shaped like the Wilson 15.99 ball from Walmart.I love the quality of the laces and stitching but not enough to over come the negatives. This ball as is now, is completely unusable and a waste of $45 they can do so much better. Wilson is the only brand we use but am very disappointed in this ball.

First one came deformed, but the replacement is great!
I left my original note below, but as my title said the first ball I received was deformed. Amazon's customer service was easy to exchange it, and the replacement arrived and quality is great. The ball is good and grippy, and shaped correctly this time. The one thing I'd warn people about with the GST series leather balls is that they are pretty hard, however I've always really liked them.Ordered for my flag football team (co-ed league that requires junior balls). First attempt the ball came deformed enough I'd expect it to have some impact when throwing. Really looks like the leather just didn't stitch together quite as neatly as it should of and overlapped in places causing a knot on the seam, and the ends of the ball are also a bit wonky and had a slight underbite (which wouldn't be a big deal alone). Luckily Amazon's customer service is great so I am immediately exchanging since this is a fairly expensive ball, will update based on the next ball I get.On a side note, the leather feels great, and the ball is made of quality material. I look forward to the replacement which will hopefully be normal shaped.

Very pleased with the quality of the K2 GST pee wee football
I ordered this from the UK and it arrived in less than a week. Packaging was fine, nicely padded and the box the ball came in showed no sign of the journey from the US.I got the K2 GST (pee wee) as I wanted a real leather ball that I can eventually give to my daughter. When I took the ball out of the box I was extremely pleased to see that every inch is perfect and there is no overbite at the ends of the ball. The ball is the perfect size for kids and is recommended for 6-9 year olds. I'm over-40 and I can't wait to have a throw myself! The leather is nice and tacky even without wearing in. My experience with leather footballs is that when the leather gets wet the tackiness increases and I expect this ball to do the same. The sewn-in stripes are noticably more grippy than painted stripes. I don't know how grippy they will be when it gets wet given the stripes are composite. Either way, the stripes are neatly stitched in and running your finger over there is no raised 'bump' where the leather and composite meet. The laces are all neat and tight and really help grip the ball.Cosmetically, the position and orientation of all the stamping is spot on.I have not had a chance to take the ball out for a throw so I can't comment as to how easy it is to get a tight spiral out of. Given the obvious quality of the build and attention to detail I don't envision having a problem.I've attached photos of the ball in and out of its box. There is a "micro" football and a full-sized ball in a couple of the shots for size comparison. My 18mo daughter loves playing with the soft micro right now. Maybe in a few years we can play catch with this ball...I'm sure it will still be going strong.I would recommend this ball at the drop of a hat.

Received as advertised at a good price
Based on some reviews I was pretty concerned after purchase that I was going to receive a composite ball. I did indeed receive a real leather football (pee wee), and as an added bonus, this one was made in USA, whereas you will find most of these now in retail stores are made in Vietnam and are definitely constructed slightly different. The pictures are after some ball prep and a practice, but the ball did arrive in new condition.

Good, but if you think leather is easy to grip, you might gripe.
I wanted to get a real good football for my 9 year old. He's rugged, likes to play hard and loves the game. I bought the junior size, and it looks great. The ball is hard. The leather is treated, I suppose, at the factory. But it's hard to grip. The ball is a bit slick. Don't think of the ball like a soft leather baseball glove. It's hard in texture and will be tough to grip.THAT BEING SAID, this is a great ball. Buy the Wilson leather conditioner to treat the ball. I also bought the tack spray, which makes ALL the difference. I treated the ball with conditioner first, let it dry, then hit it with tack spray. Each bottle is another $15. Yep, expensive. But if you're worried about the price only, get a rubber ball. The synthetic balls are easier to care for. Leather is nicer in the long run but does require some care. Think of this like your car seats. Real leather seats are tougher to care for than vinyl seats. You decide what's best for you.If this review is helpful, please hit the button.

Wish it was cheaper
Wish this ball was a little more cheap but not all wishes come true. Great tack and laces feel nice. DO NOT get the ball wet or you will end up with inflating issues and the blaster gets ruined. Also lost air a little quick for me.
