I read the reviews before purchasing, so I wasn't surprised at the lower quality. I love this set for the price. I was looking for a continuous lighting kit and figured the added stand and backdrops would be bonus. The price was right: $80.99The Lights are HUGE! we're talking almost a foot long and at least 4" diameter. they are bright and clear. "day light".Everything was packaged well, no damage during shipping. The backdrop stand comes in a very nice, zippered case.I fit everything else in a rolling duffel bag. Keeping the lights in their boxes and the light stands in their boxes; the umbrellas in their plastic sleeves (although I am not sure how long those sleeves will last) and the light fixtures loose.The backdrops are huge. Most kits I have found on Amazon are 6 foot by 9 foot, which is barely enough to shoot two people. These are 10'x10' and will easily fit 4 people. The muslin is stiff and creased, so I washed and dried it then hung it on the stand to steam it. It is thin, but with the second stiffer backdrop behind it perfect for what I was looking for. What I really liked about the muslin one was the rod pocket at the top. So it can be slid onto the backdrop stand.There were also two plastic clamps included that I missed in the description. Decent quality ones and they are all black.Over all I LOVED the lights and will use the backdrop set up too. It's a great deal.(I will be posting pictures soon)

I ordered these after looking around. I shoot outside, but want to play around with studio shooting and see no purpose in dropping $400 for something I may or may not be interested in. The lights are awesome. They are huge, and put out a lot of light. I have mine set up in the basement, and one suffices for a lot of my shoots. The backdrop stand... I would never transport it. It is metal, but the tighteners on the stands are plastic and the bar sags a little when stretched to the full width. Overall, it does what I need it to, which is support my backdrops and allow for lighting in a dim area.

Great starting kit for my at home studio. This was a great buy for the price and that is why I gave it 5 stars. I poured over other comments before making this purchase and found them to be amazingly detailed and helpful!The black backdrop piece is rather thin, so I found the extra piece to be essential.The clamps with this kit are a must and I will definitely be getting more of these!The light emitted is very bright and this was a major plus because this is set up in my basement.The stands are fairly sturdy but they are not heavy duty.I used this over the holiday season for portraits and am fairly pleased with the results.

The sheets are kinda thin, and it took me a while to steam out the wrinkles, but it's a great price as far as I know, and I have umbrella lights with a black background now. The lights are huge. They seem like they give off a light that feels too white, but that's probably just me being a noob when it comes to photography.

Came with a flimsy instruction leaf. Worth it just for the lights. Backdrop is see through. Oh but the lights 😍

This is a great kit! Has two black cloths to help with the transparency of just one... The backdrop holder has multiple heights and widths, and is pretty strong even when adding additional backdrops to the two included.... The bulbs are huge and provide a lot of light and everything folds up nicely. I do with the case it came with held everything but it's good enough for now!

Overall it is a very good product. Nothing really heavy duty but will work well if you leave it in (you get two). Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone needing a backup or starter. Lighting could be brighter but it gives off very nice light and is excellent for videos.
