Great value for the money
Camera is very flexible and provided good picture quality. The wired interface was a breeze, but the wireless interface was a little difficult to set up. I followed the instructions precisely, but the modem and camera wouldn't communicate. After referring to the Q&A section of the owner's manual, I simply unplugged the power from the camera and when I plugged it back in, it made an immediate connection. The smart phone interface was very simple. The camera is working great and I'm completely satisfied.

Wrong camera sent twice!
I ordered two of these. The FI8910W, a 640 X 480 resolution pan/tilt camera that can be accessed on most modern browsers under any OS, or on a phone because it does not need special plugins or apps. One of the two cameras was what I ordered, the other was a FI9821W, which has higher resolution ( 1280 x 720 ), but is UNUSABLE TODAY as it needs a ( windows ) plugin which will not install on modern browsers due to security issues. I ordered a replacement and sent this back, only to get another FI9821W. Also one of the cameras came with a European ( 220v ) power supply as another reviewer noted.

Everything as expected, works perfect, but a little bulkier than expected
Okay so regular set up, Pro's, Con's, Concerns. This is the same as any other FI8901W camera just a different color combo (just chose this cause it was free shipping with prime). It's an updated version of the FI8918W camera which is also decent from what i've read, but this does have very good night time images.Pros- Works great, as advertised 300* pan 120* tilt- Completely motorized- Acceptable lag between pan/tilt request and actual action at the camera- decent image quality at higher resolution (decent because it is still a 0.3mg camera in such a large camera)- zoom feature is digital- focus is manual, set it once and its good at almost all distances- IR works great! i wouldn't say it goes a full 8m though, at about 5-6m unless its completely dark the brightness adjustment will not let you see past that point. ambient light plays a huge role in this- relatively cheap (price wise)- Motion detect and email is quick, within 10-15secs of detection i have the email on my phone. Also, there is a setting that allows you to have motion detect on which not sending you random emails cause the lighting changed, so its much better at detecting actual motion in the frame.Cons- the size, quite large if your looking for something even remotely discretely security oriented- emphasize again on the size, especially with the wall mount, makes for a complete eye sore.- motor is somewhat loud, only noticeable though if your listening for it- VERY VERY short power cable length, you would expect something like this to have a longer power adapter- seems light, but with a lot of wasted space inside the unit that could've been make smaller- WiFi setup is easy if you know a little bit about computers, i wouldn't recommend it for complete newbe's- Motion detect - though great, there is no way to set it to detect motion only in certain frames of the camera. You also can't use motion detect with the patrol function which would have been an amazing functional incorporation into the camera.Concern- first, is with the internet access, mainly with my ISP, as i don't have a static IP address, there is no real way of finding out my IP address easily when i'm away for extended periods of time from the house. there are workarounds and i won't get into it, but its not easy.- audio - REALLY crappy. i don't know if its just the software i'm using but there is just so much static and noise that you can barely hear the people speaking. And i can't get the speaker on the unit (i think it has one, to work at all)- durability, i've only had the unit set up for a little over a week and so far just with playing around and setting up i've restarted it a few times. i'll update the review once i've had it longer and let you know if it requires that restart once a week to keep it functional

Very displeased
I've had this camera for three weeks now. The camera was brought for a surveillance camera at my farm. The camera is very hard to get working and set up. I had to call my tech support people several times to help get this camera working. The camera will not run with Windows Explorer 9. And I am running Windows 7 Windows 7 will not let active X program in no matter what you do. I have to run the camera on Firefox which limits the ability to move the camera around. I tried to update the firmware from the company and every time it will not let you download the new firmware. I feel this company can come up with a easier program. When I am at the farm running directly to the router the camera works fine accessing it on the Internet is another story. As far as the picture quality is very good but as far as the software is very bad I would not recommend this camera to anybody that wants an easy set up. As I said it's been three weeks and I am still working the bugs out of the camera. Yours truly very dissatisfied.

Perfect for our needs at affordable price
I like all the features on this camera. We use the ones at the front of the house to see when packages are delivered. The cameras can be aimed from the app on my phone or PC, even remotely while away from the house. The motion detection and alarm settings allow me to have it email me pictures of what moved into view. I've been using this model of camera for 10 years or more. They are really supposed to be INDOOR cameras, but I have them mounted where the overhang of the roof protects them from the weather and they seem to do just fine. Do NOT install them where they might get hit by water though. They are not weatherproof that way. Some of mine are wired and some are wireless but this model can be configured to work either way. The Model number is Foscam Fi8910W, the F stands for Foscam and the letter "i" after the F designates this as a model designed for INDOOR use.

Was expecting more.
I was expecting more from this new Foscam F18910W but was disappointed. While the pan and tilt work smoothly and quietly (an improvement over the older F18918W), the day time images with the removable ir filter doesn't produce any better quality than the older Foscam F18918W. The night time images are almost useless because the ir leds seems to produce less ir light than the older F18918W does. Out of the 10 network cameras I have (4 of which are different Foscam models) this one will be at the bottom of the performance scale.
