Good quality plastic but in some parts it is very thin.

Exact Replacement
Genuine Tamiya replacement part, exact replacement for the original included in the kit. Just a tip...DON'T USE THREADLOCK GLUE ON SCREWS GOING INTO PLASTIC. I learned the hard way that threadlock glue can cause the plastic to become brittle and found my TT-02 with the screw mounting points shattered. Thankfully this part is cheap, only $10 and was easy to get my hands on.
