NARS Satin Lip Pencil - Rikugien 2.2g/0.07oz

Pros: looks great, stays on, conditions lips. While it's not a long lasting lipstick per se, it does stay on most of the day. I do eat carefully, though, to keep it from wiping off. It feels great going on and keeps my lips soft. It's easy to apply precisely. Con: gets used up quickly. I find I have to use a lot of it to cover my lips opaquely and need to sharpen it often, so it gets finished quickly. For that price, I feel like it should last longer. Still, it's my favorite lipstick.

I love NARS’s satin lip pencils—creamy texture, doesn’t dry my lips out, wears nicely. Feels more like a lip balm than a lipstick. I LOVE the Rikugien color. It’s the only product I own that looks good regardless of whether I have a tan or not. If I’m at my fairest, I could pretty much wear white out as a foundation to give you an idea of my color match. This color on my pale skin just looks like a berry pop. When I’m not looking like Elvira Queen of the Damned, and have a hint of a tan, this color looks very natural by comparison. Pairs well with my Orgasm color blush, Also from Nars.

My lips are easily annoyed by lipsticks and so, in the past, I often chose not to wear anything on my lips (other than something like Burt's Bees or Natural Ice). My daughter received a sample of the NARS satin lip pencil and gave it to me. Since then, I use it everytime I leave my home. The color is perfect for everyday wear--enough to color my lips and keep them moisturized. I don't wear a lot of makeup, so this color is perfect for me and fits my natural palette. It isn't a long-lasting lip pencil--I find that I reapply it about once an hour--and I would like it to last a little longer, but the products I've used that are longer-lasting tend to be more irritating to my lips. I will choose to reapply a lip product more regularly over having a long-lasting one that chaps my lips any day!

This satin smooth lip pencil fills in my lipline without drying my lips or feathering. The color generally lasts at least half the day. I usually only have to apply it twice a day for it to last. The product also keeps my lips somewhat moist. This is the best lip pencil / lipstick, by far, I have ever used.

Great lipstick, colour wonderful. Need a large pencil sharpener.

I first bought some items from a make-up store and got a free NARS satin lip pencil. It was only smaller because it was a sample. I used it and a lot of people complimented my lipstick because it looks natural and matches my skin tone (typical Asian skin color). After using up the sample, I knew I had to buy one because I loved it. I did not give it 5 stars because it is not cheap and I had to buy a specific NARS sharpener to sharpen it.

It’s hard to find this particular color in the stores. This made my life easier.

This is the perfect colour for me I absolutely love it and I would recommend it to everyone. Don't buy from here as it's very over priced for what it is you can buy this for £19.99 on asos and I wish I did that.
