... upon purchasing this book I thought it would be like most other books based on Prophet Muhammad SAW
Originally upon purchasing this book I thought it would be like most other books based on Prophet Muhammad SAW. However, I have to say I was wrong, it is written very well, explains Prophet Muhammad SAW background and upbringing in such a manner that children even below 5 would be able to understand. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is a special EID chapter and discussion questions for kids and families. I hope that this author intends to write more books! On an even more personal note, I have learned more about the angel Gabriel and how he was initially introduced to Prophet Muhammad SAW.Must buy for parents!!!

Picky or not.
Call me picky. But some of the story lines don't seem right when reading. From my personal studies it's saying things that I had never heard of before. Two example were that an angel told the prophet Mohammad mother his name and he was special but that is something I have never heard or read in hadith's or Sunnah of the prophet. I think that it is very much trying to be a children's book the writing is good except for like I said something's added to make it more relatable to children. It's not my cup of tea I would like to teach differently. I decided to return it on that basis.

Must-have book for Muslim kids
I ordered this book for my 7 year old and it is fantastic! Unfortunately there are hardly any books on Islam for kids. What's more, what I particularly love about this book is how it is broken down into very short chapters, making it easy to digest, yet there are so many chapters, that kids get to learn many beautiful things about the life of the Prophet after completing the whole book. Having questions for each chapter is an added bonus and fun for kids to do.A must have book for ages 6-16. Also a refreshing read for adults.

I love that it's split into enough lessons that if you read one a day, you can finish in a month. Well written biography of Prophet Muhammad (S). My 7 yr old enjoyed reading this.

Excellent book for Muslim children
This is the best book with Islamic content for children that I have found in Arabic or English. I'm really surprised that a few of the negative reviews criticize the language as it's very natural (obviously an English composition) and the sentences are very clear and concise, easily accessible for young readers. I think children from fourth or fifth grade and up who are strong readers can self-read it while younger children can comprehend it with a little explanation. Each story is about a page and a half so even children with short attention spans can sit through it. It's also nice that each story has about three review questions to engage the children. Our family has enjoyed this book so much, I highly recommend it for others.

Great find!
Great for that chapter reader in your family instead of the more childish picture books. My daughter is trying to do just 1 story each day - which is a chapter but annoyed by doing that a little because she wants to sit and read the whole thing - which she could but I think she is trying to do 1 for each day of Ramadan :) lol. But a great book with correct information and a good introduction to the Prophet (pbuh) and his story. Appropriate for 2nd grade and up.

Short and simple
We started reading this with our 5 year old today. It worked out well bc the book is simple and straightforward, but my husband and I could fill in the blanks or add more information based on our knowledge as we deemed necessary. Our 5 year old even piped up with info she had learned at school. We are looking forward to finishing this book and revisiting it regularly.

good book
I bought this book in order for my son and I to read during Ramadan. Each chapter is very short, a page at the most, I guess in order to fill the 30 days of Ramadan. The only negative aspect about this book I wish it was more eloquently written. Some sentences don't flow well and the randomness of explanations don't help the "story." I just wish the chapters were also longer because I tend to finish reading them in less than 5 min, unfortunately.

Good book but not for young children
the book itself is easy to read and understand. i as an adult personally enjoyed it. however I would hardly recommend it for kids younger than 8. i am reading it to my 6 year old and there are so many questions which is fine. but some are so hard to answer. like clans and tribe system. Gosh the marriages where so hard to explain. i almost had to skip that chapter of family.

Amazing book
It's really hard to find islamic stories for children. But I'm really happy with this book. My son is 6 and is really enjoying reading this and asking lots of questions related to our Prophet's (pbuh) life.

May be a little hard to read for a younger child but perfect for 8+
It is a good book. It might be hard for a younger child to read but fine for a 10 year old. Over all it's a good book.
