I got this to open plastic water bottles, as they are far too tight for normal hands. I found that I only had to slip it over the very top of the cap to get it to turn. As for ring pulls; forget it!. The plastic is far too thick and just kept slipping all over the can. They keep changing the shape of the ring pull, which doesn't help, but thick plastic is no substitute for the human nail. So I'm back to square one on that score.

My self and my husband have arthritis so this has changed our life in the kitchen.

I can not really give a review for this product as it was a gift, but I can say it looks sturdy and will hopefully make opening jars and bottles a lot easier for my mother in law.

I have arthritis and find it a great help with cans bottles etc
