Different but Better
Other reviewers are right, this formula has changed since I last purchased in 2016. I tried other brands of meditation blends and never found one I liked as much as edens garden, so when I first I opened the new bottle, my first response was disappointment that it smelled different than my first edens garden meditation blend. I smelled anise first. I turned the bottle upside down and let a drop into my hand and smelled clove. Rubbed it in and went for a walk to let the smells settle. It’s sweeter than the original meditation blend, which was heavy on the patchouli and so that was immediately more earthy & grounding. But here is what happened with the new blend, as the scents mellowed. I could see why they changed it. With sharper balanced scents, it will awaken and focus the mind. After a few minutes the “dirt” or grounding scent came through and the more sweet or pungent mellowed. Then a bit of citrus came through with floral earthy lavender. The citrus / orangey & dirt stayed. I discovered that my own blend of vetiver and wild sweet orange helped my friend’s ADHD, and this is reminiscent of that but more nuanced of course with all the top, mid and bottoms. But it is at once elevating and calming. That is good for the mind. It’s an improvement on the first blend. I’m a daily meditator, I don’t follow the rules and will do my own thing while meditating. Walk, lie down, work, whatever. But I want mental awareness during my meditations, I want clarity and a happy mood, scent matters and can improve on the experience. I think this improved formula is more layered. I loved the first but it was a little heavy, this is lighter. I like it better. I hear they had a doctor improve on the formula. Although it’s true you don’t need to fix not-broke things, I like the idea of progress and improvement and experimentation. With everything, including a meditation blend essential oil. Isn’t that why we meditate. Why not give it a try!

Good blend but company has been messing up the blends recently
Its alright I guess.... Try to avoid blends with ylang ylang in it. They changed up the blends and now they all are ruined with too much ylang ylang. This is a great blend IF they would use less ylang ylang. I used to be a frequent buyer of the relaxation blend until they did this to all the blends. I dont buy that anymore either. Buy the individual oils until they hopefully fix this issue.

Scent has changed
I am very disappointed in the scent. I used this blend constantly and couldn’t wait to replace it however the contents seem to be different. There is a star anise or black licorice scent I cannot get over. I have tried diluting it and mixing it with other scents. I also waiting a couple months thinking maybe it was my mood or the season. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on stuff like this and I saved up and waited to purchase the meditation blend again and now I cannot even use it because of the anise scent. I love the company and have been using it and recommending it for years. Is there anything we can do for me?

I love Edens Garden EO
Love this blend, it is strong so dilute it with a carrier oil as instructed. I use this to help me dream as I said in a review of the smaller bottle I purchased some time ago, I still have a few of the 14 set I bought in 2013 and they still smell great. Some eo get stronger over time like rose but some loose their potency as well, do some research first and do a skin test first before going to town with the oils, also be kind to family members that may have sensitiviy to these oils or specific ones. I recommend these oils but also use caution and be respectful to anyone with sensitive lungs and avoid using around anyone with lung disease like asthma, COPD or emphysema.

Missing the old blend
I’m a big Eden’s Garden user, but I’m extremely disappointed that they changed this oil. The new smell is awful and I was hoping I could get the old one on amazon, but no luck. I had to return this because it’s nothing like the old meditation blend.I had to update this review by saying the company did get back to me and provided the original blend ingredients so I can make it myself. At least I can still have it, but I’ll have to purchase a few singles.

Just perfect
I've loved all the Eden's Garden blends I've tried so far (as well as all the individual oils) But this one is my favourite of the blends. It's just perfect for what I wanted it for. I tend to use the blends pretty much only to diffuse as I am meditating. Not that I had a idea what méditation actually might "smell" like if it had an odour. But if it did have an odour I bet it'd be close to this smell. It smelka like the great outdoors to me. Like leaves, pinecones, and all sorts of beautiful greenery and plantlife. To me the goal of meditation is to feel more and more connected to nature and the world around us, and all that's in it and part if it. A beautiful nature scent like this could only help with this. In a green diffuser, even better. It strikes me that it'd be a really great autumn scent too.

Best meditation oil
I add two drops of this oil with three drops of olive oil or coconut oil, and rub together in the palms of my hands before I sit in meditation, very good experience.the best oil for meditation.

Smells horrible! And I’m not so sure about the quality. It’s thick and yellow.
