I LOVE this ghee. I tried ghee a few years ago from a brand I bought at the grocery store. I did not like it at all; so never tried again-as I thought all ghee tasted like that. Boy, was I wrong! This one from Banyan is amazing. I was recommended this brand from someone at my yoga studio and I took the leap to try one more time. The taste is so good. So, so good. I have three bottles on my shelf right now-as I use it very often and don't want to run out. I use it every chance I get. If you have ever tried ghee and didn't like it-just give this a try.

Expensive product but worth the price. The smell and taste of this ghee (clarified butter) is out of this world and very authentic.

This is my favorite ghee I’ve tried. From the smell, texture, and consistency at room temp it’s amazing quality.

I have ordered 5 different kinds of Ghee on Amazon, searching for a favorite. This is at the top of my list, followed by Ancient organics and Pure Indian. Purity Farms is dead last....smelled and tasted like we were licking a cow !!! Oh yuck!Back to Banyan, it is SO smooth, and has the richest butterscotchy flavor of all of those we have tried. Truly a decadent tasting treat! It cooks and bakes perfectly in my recipes. Truth be told, if there is some left on the spoon, you bet I'm going to eat it straight from the jar.It's organic, has always been fresh, and I appreciate that they ship it with a cold pack. Also, wrapped and wrapped double time in bubble and heavy paper packaging...which you think would be what all glass bottle ghee shipments would be shipped like....but sadly, many have arrived in Priority mail ENVELOPES with nothing more that a small layer of butcher paper and a plastic bag around it.Banyan has also been the only ghee to offer 1 day shipping (for those times when I don't realize how low in the jar I really am). Getting this to me overnight, or next day is a huge plus. Many of the other ghee's have a one size fits all time schedule of shipping, and it it typically 3-4 days, and in some cases, over a week of waiting to get it. In the case of Ancient Organics, they seem to have production issues, and they are not available at all some times.We are just really happy with Banyan. My only complaint, please make this in a larger size!

The quality is very good, has a very nice original flavor, one should try it.Try with dal and rice, you will love it!The only complaint is it is a little over priced, 14 dollars for 200 grams is a little on the higher side, the manufacturer should reconsider the price

My jar arrived leaking. Amazons policy for said no return on the item but banyan refunded my money immediately. I love their usual high quality ghee..

Usually high quality. This order has a brown substance at the bottom and very runny. Something not right.
