i never knew valerian was so good for anxiety! it’s always promoted as a sleep aid. One teaspoon, steep in boiling water for ten minutes, within a half hour I feel so relaxed. great alternative to benzos. great product, thank you.

Yes, this tea smells and tastes bad, but that's the nature of valerian root. The best thing you can do is combine it with a better smelling/tasting herb for your tea. It is calming and gets the job done

However, make sure once opened you close zip type bag all the way, or better yet, toss into a sealed jar with one of those pressure lids. Smells to high heaven, and it takes getting used to. Again, the quantity is more than fair and the freshness is very obvious. If recommend.

This tea was so great - and totally did the trick. I bought this as a sleep aid - I've had it two nights in a row, and both times, I was out like a light. I'm also a tea snob, so I could see how great the quality is - no staining in the cup, no/low tannins. The smell in the packed bag is also strong at first (means it's fresh!), but don't worry; it doesn't persist or taste that way. Highly recommend!
