JJC Sensor Loupe with 7x Magnification & Ultra-bright LEDs for DSLR Mirrorless Cameras Sensor Cleaning

This is a really good product. I'm really impressed with JJC. They seem to be a reseller of Chinese photographic products, but they seem to choose to resell only the good quality versions of the products, and this magnifying glass is no exception.I bought this last year to clean a dust spot from my sensor. A few weeks back I had to dig it out again to clean another dust spot. And then today a third dust spot appeared on my sensor after having been taking pictures yesterday at the beach, which is why I thought I should write a review this time.The light in the magnifying loupe really allows you to see all the dust on the sensor. I could even see dust that I hadn't yet spotted in my pictures. In my case, I used it in combination with a blower brush to blow off as many of the particles off the sensor as possible, as blowing is the least invasive of the sensor cleaning methods. Unfortunately, on my second cleaning episode (a few weeks back), the particles I had seemed to have got stuck to the sensor. For this I used the Lenspen sensor cleaner to 'brush' the particles off the sensor, which requires blowing out the camera compartment afterwards, to remove the carbon dust that that pen tends to leave behind.A few years back, whilst on holiday, I got dust spot on my sensor not long after starting my holiday, and I had a persistent dust spot show up on most of the shots that year. After using this loupe today, I fully intend to take it with me on my next holiday to more proactively check my sensor for dust spots while away. (That year, it was very annoying to have had to fix the dust spots on all my photos afterwards!)Anyway, this is a good product and I am very happy with it.

For the money, this is a really useful bit of kit to check for sensor dust. However....for Mirrorless (in my case Fuji), you need to lift the loupe away from the camera body. I was hoping this would work sitting on the lens mount, but not so. Having said that, its a fraction of the cost of my Visible Dust loupe, so great value.

Brilliant piece of kit, makes work on the camera so much easier, it’s well made and not a bad price either.

I don't often write reviews but thought I would for this product. So that people get correct information on the product and what comes in the box1 x JJC Sensor Loup2 x CR 2320 (working Batteries)1 x Bag for Sensor1 x Disposable Clean clothI found the item for the money to be very good. I used it on my Nikon D750 and it worked well, unlike other reviews batteries where working and it did come with bag to keep it in.. I like the fact it can be powered by standard micro usb cable if batteries where dead and you had none to hand.Only complaint some people might have is with the need to hold the Loup slightly away from the lens mount on my camera to get proper focus. but for £21 its bargain and something every decent photographer should have

Very easy to use. It makes it very easy to see dust on the sensor and to check that the sensor is clean after dusting it off. I have used it with a normal dslr and also with a mirrorless camera. Great purchase.

This was as described and was delivered on time

I had an Artic Butterfly loupe that doesn't lock the watch batteries in the side of it, making me have to hold them tight while trying to look, clean and hope no other dust falls into the mount.With this loupe, I can hold it slightly away from the mount, allowing me to use the Artic Butterfly brush under the loupe. It is also a fraction of what the Artic Butterfly is worth.

Good bit of kit, certainly helps in viewing the sensor - also good for seeing splinters!!

Hilft sehr bei der Reinigung, das Glas könnte besser sein, aber allgemein hilft es mir Brillenträger sehr gut bei der Kontrolle der Linsen und des Sensors

J’ai commandé et utilisé cette loupe pour le nettoyage du capteur d’un Canon M50.Piles livrées avec la loupe, et une prise USB pour utiliser la loupe en toute circonstance, parfait.Avec cette loupe on repère parfaitement sur le capteur les poussières que l’on ne voit pas à l’œil nu. Pour moi le fait que la mise au point se fasse quand la loupe est quelques centimètres au-dessus de l’appareil est en fait un avantage.Cela permet, tout en tenant la loupe d’une main, d’agir avec l’autre main et de voir ce que l’on fait sur le capteur. Dans mon cas cela m’a permis de détecter que j’avais laissé une trace de produit que j’ai pu retirer avec une seconde spatule nettoyante.Je suis donc satisfait de cette loupe qui remplit parfaitement sa fonction.
