good but SASHA. why
i really liked this book and CCA is one of my favoite series, but sheesh. SASHA. sasha, sasha, sasha. tsk tsk. you need to learn to tell the truth.this book isnt encouraaging kids <like me> to tell lies. when sasha tells a lie, Jessica Burkhart adds stuff like, i held myself back from slapping myself in the face, and, my own wrdsmade me sick.i liked this book but it needs some work. first of sll sasha shouldnt keep telling lies at the end of the book. then callie migt want her back. i miss the old caterwood crest. where is innocent sasha, who just crushes on boys? charm is still charm, whic i a happy about. JB, i hope it gets better. <for those of you who skimmed ths review, you might want to read the whlethng>

Good book, Bad Lesson
Usually, I love the Canterwood Crest books, an all the drama in them. But this book taught really bad things to Jessica's target audience. For example, her big "lesson" is: "a little lie never hurt anyone". Who is she trying to kid?! What kind of lesson is that to teach to her young audience? She seems to want us to believe that terrible things will happen to use if we lie later on in the book, like how Sasha lies to Callie about Jacob, but she goes against that when Sasha gets everything back in a later book. All in all, if you are looking for an entertaining book, then this is definitely a good boook for you. Just don't take the "lessons" too seriously.

linda and heather
i thought that this book was very cheezy at some points but i can relate to sasha completely. i have 20 horses and me and my friends fight all of the time. i am a talented eqestrian and i know how pressuresd she feels i have competitions and i have to ride 20 horses every day and i have to study and walk my 5 dogs and do my homework and i have homeworm and all of that jazz

This is the best book series i've ever read
I chose five stars because it's a great book about drama and horses that will always keep you on your toes. All of the Canterwood series will. If you like horses and or drama I would recommend this book for you. But if your under the age of ten or over the age of 12 you might have to rethink your book choice. I'm eleven and I absolutely love this book. Hopefully you will enjoy this book as much as I did.

Good series
My daughter wanted something "older" (she is in 4th grade but reads at an 11th grade level) but I didn't want a series that was too old. Although I am not thrilled that many of these books focus on dealing with the newest mean girl, my daughter seems to enjoy these and is devouring them rather quickly. We bought the whole series including the specials.
