I've had these many times before. They've always been good. My issue is the shipping. For my 1st order, I happened to see the option to add additional box for shipping. It arrived as if I had selected them myself from grocer's shelf. The 2nd time, I just clicked to order from previous order. What I got was appalling! From the crushed box, I could tell other heavier box(es) had been placed on top. The contents were mostly reduced to individual rice grains.***I took photos before breaking down box & salvaging what I could. Did not return as I needed something to eat as I have digestive issues & wanted to avoid going out in public. Did't realize I had to do live photography to include here.***

A year or so ago, I would have given these 5 stars. But not anymore. I found these on the grocer's shelves when I was visiting the USA. The were good, solid cakes with a pleasing texture. However ...For over a year I have seen the quality go down. These fall apart too easily. I used to love these rice cakes. I still like the texture very much. But I don't like the fact that they fall apart so easily. Many cakes you can't even get out of the package in one piece. They just crumble. If I wanted puffed rice, I would buy cereal. I want rice cakes!I hope that they improve the production of these someday soon, or I will have to change brands.--Update 12 July, 2020I have now removed these from my subscribe and save and moved them from 2 stars to one. I will be switching brands. The last bunch that cam in were more crumbly than the previous. The box was in tact, no damage. The worst of them was not the top or the bottom, where they would be most vulnerable to damage. Middle ones, ones in the top and bottom third! (first photo)Added to that, today I bit into one and found a shell of a hazelnut! Was someone snacking while in production? I nearly chipped a tooth! Most rice cakes are light and puffy. When the box arrived with these rice cakes, the box was fairly HEAVY. When I opened the box, I realized that each package of these rice cakes weighs twice as much as a package of normal light, puffy rice cakes. The texture of these rice cakes is dense and fairly chewy so that they are much stronger than normal rice cakes and they don't break as easily.I personally was disappointed with these rice cakes. I currently need to be on a low residue diet and even though the package states that one rice cake contains only 1 gram of fiber, the darker rice bran is very visible throughout these rice cakes.If you like dense,and chewy rice cakes with a nutty flavor, then these rice cakes are fine.

I can’t find these salt free brown rice cakes anywhere locally and had to buy this huge box which will probably last a long while. I needed these to compliment a new diet plan I recently began; which is going well and I have lost weight. I was a little hesitant about rating the flavor because there is NO FLAVOR but not does not taste bad. After period of eating natural and other foods with low to no salt; the flavor can be experienced or maybe I’ve just gotten used to them. Either way, 2 cakes a day with no salt raw almond butter 1/3 cup blueberries

I Really enjoy the nutty flavor and crunch of these rice cakes. The 1st bag took me like a month to get through, and it didn’t get stale.I kept it in the frig at home, in its own packaging. And the one at work is in my overhead cabinet in its own packaging. No zip locs, and still keeping the crunch. The other rice cakes I use to buy got stale even in zip locs and kept in the frig.

Great crunch,:wonderful taste, scrumptious! I have never been a fan of rice cakes but I ordered these for my three dogs. I tasted one and I will be ordering more for me this time.

I was very disappointed, I have bought these several times and this time one of the entire stack of rice cakes I received were all crushed, I would have to eat them with a spoon, which is not how I eat my rice cakes.

My local grocery store was all out of rice cakes so I thought I'd give these a try. When ordering I noticed that these had a calorie content twice that of the ones I usually buy. The reason for this became apparent as soon as they arrived. These rice cakes are much more dense and hard. While I do have a great flavor and are easy to add toppings to, they are a bit hard for my liking.
