great product, easy install
2.5 inch suspension lift on my 93 YJ Wrangler. Quick delivery. My first time ever installing a lift kit. The install took me 2 days. Day one, 6 hours on the frontend, day two, 4 hours on back end. Installed it in my driveway with hand tools. Front end took so long only because I took it apart twice due to sway bar and tension bar aligning issues. Finally gave up and decided not to attach them. Put everything back together, put the wheels on and lowered of the jacks and stands. That's when everything lined up. No need for any new sway or tension bars. Very happy.

Works well
This lift kit is all it says it is. Great for 34 year old Jeep with sagging leaf springs. You might also need extension brackets for the cross bars front and rear. I also changes the pitman arm to alleviate bump steer. Front brake hoses may need to be replaced with longer ones. I also bought the transfer case lowering kit to stop driveline vibration. The lift overall worked our great

Jeep YJ Extremely Happy - I dont understand the "Haters"
I own a 1992 Jeep Wrangler - YJ. I did a lot of reading and watched a lot of YouTube before I chose the Rough Country 2.5 inch lift kit. Lord knows there are lot of haters out there for Rough Country lift kits, with a lot of warnings. I have never installed a lift kit before or replaced shocks on anything, but I am mechanically inclined - and I know how to watch YouTube videos (firsty). With that said, I can tell you getting old/corroded leaf springs OUT is a whole lot harder than getting the new ones in. Yes, it was some work to get it all done; but I enjoy working on my YJ. So, while some parts were frustrating (cutting out old-frozen bolts), overall it was FUN. With that said: I can tell you that I just completed installing my lift kit and shocks, and I also just put new 32" tires on my YJ. I took it for a drive last night, went down some Arizona desert trails, etc. I can report that I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with the ride. It feels like I am driving a new Jeep - very nice ride (as far as I am concerned). I should add, I am doing and rock-crawling, or ultra-extreme 4 wheeling. I think this kit is just right for people like me who do mild-to-moderate 4 wheeling. Why four stars - not five?: 1) No instructions, at all. Watch YouTube videos first. 2) Kit does not include dust boots for the shocks. Order the dust boots before you install the shocks. Other than those mild complaints, I am extremely pleased with the Rough Country 2.5 inch lift kit for my Jeep YJ. Great value for the $$.

Gave Jeep a great new look
Good value for the money. Easy to install. Be careful and keep an eye on the brake lines. I am going to order a brake line extension kit...longer brake lines for lifted jeep. If you jack the Jeep by the bumper and the axle hanging the brake lines are tight

Excellent fit - easy install
This is my 2nd lift kit from Rough Country and both were good quality, great fit and easy to install.

Will need new bolts, so before starting will need 7/16 bolts for shocks
Front OEM shock bolts will not work with new shocks, and new bolts not included to put them on

Best bang for the buck. $$$. Great lift great quality and price point even the shocks are good. I would recommend this to everyone who has a sacked out jeep. Don’t forget to buy the steering stabilizer as well it’s totally worth it

Both my rear shocks that came with the kit were too long and busted off each mount on the frame, I messaged the seller they responded with "do they leak?" And I said no and then they ghosted me. Other than that for the price around 680$ CAD I spent I can't really complain. And the seller also asked for the part numbers and he said they were correct not too sure what's going on there. After I installed shorter shocks it rides like new.

The springs are very firm and overall stiff, due to the arc, the shackles are wrong angle.
